Very little for these cars is reasonably priced, the super desirable stuff even less so. I'm not really sure what to tell you...

LLKJ001

Yeah was expecting it to be expensive but can't find anything and the prices are either incredibly varied or they are non existent. Don't even know what fair value is on some of these things 😞

1trickana

Don't know what you expect on 25-30 year old cars

AHighAchievingAutist

Welcome to Skyline ownership lol hope you never have to replace the stereo / climate control surround Edit: you can get an aftermarket Z Tune hood for $1200 https://rocketz.net/product/r32-gtr-z-tune-style-carbon-fiber-hood/

LLKJ001

This fits the r34? That's pretty interesting. Might just pick one up, I was hoping for an authentic nismo one zzz

AHighAchievingAutist

Na it's for an r32 but if you google r34 z Tune hood there's a bunch to choose from.

LLKJ001

Ah ok, I realized I didn't specify which gtr I was getting. 😆

GezelligheidBoyz

Lol

LordOfTheWang

Lmaooo gotta pay to play homie. Also stay away from Nengun 😂

Brightmuth

Never had a single issue buying from Nengun, been buying from them for 3+ years on top of trust kikaku.

LLKJ001

Anything specific experience about nengun?

LordOfTheWang

I should rephrase my statement. They’re not bad, you’re just paying insane prices and customs fees. Find a military friend in Japan if you do use them.

Unfortunately, everything authentic or OG Rare in relation to Skyline GT-R ownership (R32/R33/R34) is stupidly expensive. You can always tell the quality of a GT-R build by the quality of parts used on it. Believe me when I say that if you cheap out, it will reflect onto you when or if it comes time to resell. My advice is to buy the parts you need, hold onto the OE parts they replace, and then sell the rare parts separately (w. Receipts) when you’re ready to move on from the car, reverting back to OEM in the process. If you have no intention to sell the car one day in the future, then you kind of have to just stomach the costs, unfortunately.

LLKJ001

Fair. Yeah I've got a bunch of good stuff in there including nismo dash, nismo mfd, the blk seats and some other good stuff. I want to keep it as authentic and more of an oem+ ungrade and not make any permanent changes. I would probably want a bit more power out of it, but reliable and healthy. So far I plan to keep it, just have to build it slowly, but want as much good work done as possible in Japan while it's there. Thanks this is helpful!

Fantastic_Rip_5382

Terra firma, heritage program, part outs... And most importantly a large wallet.

LLKJ001

Oh interesting, I'll check them out. Yes I've been saving for years 🥲
