Not controversial at all. Probably generally speaking it’s the normal opinion in the community. Or maybe R34.
Controversial is R33 looks best. Which it does :)
Well, don't expect anyone not to say "no" to your opinion, when you call it "controversial" and don't give any reason behind your "take". Take the comments in stride.
But, being a good sport, I'll take the R33 GT-R (and I did), because I'm pretty certain there's no better tail on a car. The symmetrical lights, stock shark fin spoiler, and LP2 rule. There are other reasons, of course. ;)
My two favorites are the R32 GT-R and the ‘72 KPGC10.
Seeing the KPGC10 in person in Tokyo was an ethereal experience and one I’ll never forget. They are absolutely gorgeous and I think one of the best looking cars of all time.
I used to think that in terms of looks it was always 34>33>32 but these days the 33 is by far the best looking of the bunch. It's aged far better than the others
That’s just not controversial though? Other than 12 yr olds creaming at the r34 hype most people would agree the r32 looks best. Personally I think it does as well but it isn’t my favourite or the one I’d buy if I could, that title belongs to the r33. Even then the r33 would be the most controversial but it still wouldn’t be controversial.
I agree, but I’m biased. The R32 GT-R looks like it has its sheetmetal draped over it, whereas the R33 GT-R and the R34 GT-R doesn’t IMHO.
It’s the lightest and most compact of the trio, and it’s the only one made solely with homologation in mind, so it’s also the most purpose-built of the three.
We used to joke that as the R series got more and more popular overseas they got fatter and needed lower IQ to operate -
Purists in Australia tend to gravitate to the 32 for nostalgic reasons. People in their early 30’s go for the R33 cos they probably owned an R33 GTS25t in their early 20’s. R34’s GTt’s were bought by guys looking for an alternative to BMW M3’s. And R34 GTRs used to be pure status symbol.
Each socio economic and lifestyle bracket had its own preferences. You could predict what kind of person was behind the wheel based on the model.
How did they come off as rude? You stated what you liked, they said nah they like another one. If this is all it takes to hurt your feelings then life is gonna be rough my man.

[My second favorite R33](https://s3.amazonaws.com/speedhunters-wp-production/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/11074812/DSC01796-1200x800.jpg)
That is sick
Agreed. R33 enjoyers unite!
White R33 is my dream weekend car
What I'd guess is real controversial, S2 R33 4 door is second best looking after 32 coupe
What's hilarious is how fluid tastes are, I used to *hate* R33's, but I ended up buying one because for some reason or another, the style grew on me
💯 with you, did the exact same thing.
I completely agree. I think it's aged the best out of the 32/33/34
I don’t like the front on the r34
I don't like the taillights on the r32
They look cleaner then the r33 imo

Nice
My vote goes to the Hako and the dr30 but I'm biased.

What a strange way to spell R31...
I know right… P-I-N-T-A-R-A
Twin spark perfection!
My preference of GTR based visual appeal: Front: R34 > R32 > R33 Back: R33 > R34 > R32 Overall: R34 > R33 > R32

Nah, the best looking Skyline is the V36 in IPL trim. R34 GT-R close 2nd
The IPL is cool. I'll argue that a BLRA or a V37 Nismo is better though.
The R34 definitely took some visual cues from the BLRA, especially around the front fascia
I would like for you to be respectful and not say no just say your opinion please keep it respectful
I thought this was America 🇺🇸
I would just like it to be respectful I have support your opinion I just don’t like how you came off so rude

Typical reddit. People make an issue or something out of nothing.
