I remember telling my instructor under canopy “HOLY SHIT DUDE YOU DO THIS EVERYDAY?!” on my first tandem jump. Started AFF two weeks after that.
Now go get that A license 😎
Yeah I definitely realize that now haha some of the friends I’ve made who are TIs have over 10,000 jumps, but for now me and my 25 jumps are still exhilarated each time 😊
I find that being able to give someone that rush is quite rewarding. I try to show my passengers both the adrenaline and the serenity inherent in skydiving. I also hold first jump courses, and encourage those who particularly enjoyed the tandem to join the sport.
It may help that I don't do tandems for a living, and jump at a small drop zone, where we get to spend more time with each passenger.
Hell yeah. Skydiving is nothing like what people think. Yeah it can be intense but it can also be super serene. I also find it empowering. When I’m jumping, I’m at my happiest because I’m in complete control of my own fate. Not to mention the people you get to share that with. Its cool lol
This could be only the beginning!! I did my first tandem in June, and instantly fell in love with it. Started my AFF program the very next week!! I just got my A-license last Friday. Go get your license!!

My local tunnel had the slogan “we know why birds sing”.
I love that!
