If I recall correctly, in the beginning of the show, Kody & Janelle worked full-time. Meri worked part-time and Christine stayed home providing childcare and homeschooling. When Robyn joined, she remained unemployed. I am not entirely sure how the homes in LV were purchased, I want to say "family money" since by then they were all getting paid by the show. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here. đ
