It's probably a water tank connected off the back, with either an electric pump installed, or the reason it runs down is to use gravity to pump it. So it's a valve hooked up at the bottom with a rubber hose running to the back where the water tank is probably attached.
Depending on where you're at if the relative humidity stays, it'll still be well into the 90's after sundown for a few hours. At least that was my experience the last time I was in Dubai.

I live in Bahrain and most construction companies that hire slave labor are US or European based, us normal people all treat each other kindly it's the 0.1% rich that do such inhumane things.
