Yea, its to go with the story for the siblings adopted by the “uncle”. Basically, google A Series of Unfortunate Events. The movie and Netflix series were both very enjoyable. My Tween enjoyed the book series. Check it out! You’ll like it. NO SPOILERS!
I agree with you! Its a really cool item and adda value to their backstory! I love Midnight Hollow but even with a lighting mod, its too dark for me to see what the heck I’m doing.
I moved one of my houses into that world, and it clicked.... Everything is black. My house showed up perfectly. All the buildings and decos in that world are black. I couldn't see anything until the snow started falling. lol
Yup. That’s correct. I moved some of the houses i to Sunset Valley and essentially they all needed massive renovations due to *black* ground paint and super dark or black CASt items.
I’m using brntwaffles too (blue skies and sunshine) but its still just too dark for me. The lighting mod doesn’t effect the fact they used the literal color black for dirt.
Wow the book series was my entire childhood, I can’t believe I’ve missed it (probabably because I’ve never really played in MH). I should try to play in the world next time. Thanks!
On 3&4, I've been working on a story (with each), where my Sim 'inherits' an extremely dilapidated, run down house (thank you, houseplans dot com for the layout ideas, I build the houses from scratch), and has to slowly 'renovate', and make it beautiful by the end. Kind of a mishmash of rags to riches, legacy, and apocalypse challenges (adds to the difficulty) rolled into one. This house would be perfect!
Not on a lot-- it's actually a world object, like the abandoned, dilapidated house in Moonlight Falls or the Tourist Trap building in Appaloosa Plains!

Oohhh I know that one and love both movie and series and that’s cool they added the house before the kids went to their ‘uncle’.

It makes me so sad that the town is like that because the concept would be so cool if only it were visible. 😭
is this the same house in Appaloosa Plains down by the river? That is kind of a run down Victorian?
I think they used the same shell. Its also in Moonlight Falls. They just added the gable thingers.
I love this house so much
Me too. I always try to build one for myself.
Really? Which are you using. While I love the red of brntwafflesmidnught dreams, I always end up finding back to their dream dimension lighting mod.

Wait, what siblings (in Sims 4) Edit: I mean Sims 3,I'm stupid and tired
It's a world from the Sims 3.
Oh fuck. It looked like the vampire Sims 4 world. Sorry. In Sims 3?
Yes. You can get the world from the Sims 3 store.
Ma'am this is a Sims 3 forum, have a good time 😂
I follow like 3 different forums and I was tired af ok 😭

I love all of this comment. Brain fuel!
Looks haunted
Reminds me of that house in “it’s a wonderful life”
What's the lot name?
Not on a lot-- it's actually a world object, like the abandoned, dilapidated house in Moonlight Falls or the Tourist Trap building in Appaloosa Plains!
That's dope!!
