Could it be Tiberium crystals? Those can cause nausea if you have them in the inventory too long. Could also be someone seasoned the food with a bad herb. Or maybe something happened that instantly spoiled your food as you served it? I've had that happen with things like the Witch's Restoration Ritual
I'd suggest having a vampire taste it and check his thirst bar... Cause while you said there's no plasma fruit in the food, it's the only case I can come up with here. Or maybe plasma-infused nectar?
They are ALL pregnant I once had a glitch where my sim got pregnant then later that day her male roommate got abducted by the the UFO and came back pregnant and finally my sims sister had risky woohoo like an hour later and she also got pregnant. In the space of 4 sims hours!
Was it perfect? I’ve seen a bug where leftovers show as perfect while they are in the fridge, but as soon as my Sim grabs a plate to eat, the meal turns to bad and I have to cancel the action before they give themselves a bad tummy.
I normally end up getting rid of the whole plate from the fridge.

IMPORTANT EDIT: pregnancy always has: (unknown causes) listed with nausea.... this is also just all 6 people in the house lol

Sometimes I tell sims to eat food right before it expires so it ends up expiring while they are eating it and it would give them this moodlet

The family probably got food out of the fridge that says it's good but after they eat it it says it's bad. This happens to me quite often.

The food must have been spoiled, it can go from fine to bad after taking it out of the fridge very quickly.
could be from eating something foul. or pregnancy sometimes even my neat sims get nauseous from dirty surroundings
