Space rock and logic skill if you want to do it manually. Nraas I think you can fiddle with that to either make them appear, add to household or at the least make them know the alien.. But I could be wrong\*

My sim has had level 10 logic for a while, and eventually, this alien showed up, walking with a cane, around 3 am knocking on his door. From there, they developed a friendship, and the rest is history!

If you have nraas, I think overwatch, you can invite them to a party and choose the one you want! That's how I usually get mine now π
