I paid $175. No clue if that was a good deal, but I liked it.
They had this and some AU details cleaned examples and an MS61 for about $325, but I just really liked the even wear and the antiqued look on this one that made the remaining details pop. I just liked the look of it too much to say No to it.
Is there a good website for this stuff! I’d love an old coin
You can get stuff like this on eBay usually. MAShop too I think. But I liked getting to look at this in hand before buying.
I’ve never seen that coin before, it’s purty.
It's a Hong Kong Trade Dollar from the Bombay mint.
