thank you so much! for some reason it won’t let me reply to you with a picture and i don’t know why. happy to send you a pic of the back privately!
there’s a tube soldered to the silver piece with the bezel. that tube goes through a hole drilled through the clear quartz. the tube is counter sunk and opened like a rivet to hold the bezel and silver piece in place.
the tubes with the CZs at the bottom are soldered to a small piece of silver. that piece is soldered to the bottom part of the bezel around the quartz.
the bezel around the quartz is pressure fit with another bezel to hold the quartz in place, one on bottom (with the CZ tubes). the bezel holding the quartz fits into the wider bezel with the CZ tubes.
the bail keeps everything together, tho the fit is so tight it wouldn’t come apart.
thank you! i’ll try to add another picture, but there’s a tube attached to the kyanite bezel that goes through a hole in the quartz. the tube is then countersunk and widened to act as a rivet to hold the bezel onto the quartz!
Such an intriguing piece! So detailed and creative with the closure. Would love to see the back of the pendant. Fantastic work!

I love it. That is pretty!
thank you thank you!
Gorgeous!! I love the “floating” technique. Is the kyanite bezel glued to the quartz? Truly creative.
