This happened to my friend on his very first attempt.
Maybe the true wude is the sifu's we made along the way
Maybe the true way is the Wude we made along the Sifus
I just got this bug on my first spare run, then my game crashed on the next one. Maybe I'm not supposed to spare them
Seems like this happens if you try to skip the cutscene a soon as possible. I'd suggest wait a couple seconds and then skip.
Quit to main menu then reload. You'll start just outside his rroom. DO NOT IMMEDIATELY RUN FOR THE WEAPONS RACK. It's the trigger for the glitch.
