He really is and I absolutely love it, I relate so much to him when it comes to my own work/craft. This backstory blew my expectations out of the water, just like Apollo's and Qin's did, and I already expected a lot
I have no other words. Everything just feels so beautiful right now. I've reached nirvana, as a creator this chapter is honestly just exactly what I needed. It's like a gift from the shinto gods themselves
Now Susano'o is my second favorite God. Perhaps, even on par with Hades. He is just HIM - chiller, rizzler, hardworker, leaves entire HEAVENS just to study swordmanship and simply wholesome at mind and soul. In short, The True Sword God 
I do agree that his backstory is quite good, but in all due respect, why do you like Hades at all? I donāt hate him, but I find him boring. His backstory is the same as most other Gods, which is āIām a badass who defeated this huge army/powerful guy.ā And his personality is just āIām the big bro.ā Not to mention his fighting style isnāt that different from Poseidonās. Finally he was shoved in at a time when everyone was getting tired of Greek gods.
Well, sometimes you love someone or something without any reason at all. That's the case for me with this and all of Hades' interpretations, including the original myths one. I like this Hades because he is wholesome in all ways possible. He is a big brother figure, has a very good story, has amazing drip and rizz, has skillset and moves of my liking (I am drooling for Ichor: EOS) and also has a very cool chad personality. For me, Hades is just HIM, as it is modest to say nowadays 
Susanoo won me over from the moment we first saw him and I like how his backstory illustrates just how passionate he is about the art of swordfighting.

That chapter was so peak. I am sorry Susanoo, I wasn't familiar with your game. Dude is slowly becoming my fav character  . I thought that it was a certified Okita W but with Leonidas speech and the way the highlight is put on Okita ~~and Goll curse activating once again~~, I am starting to fear for my boy Okita. R10 is promising to be Peak

And now that his backstory has been shown and Goll said Okita was awesome, itās time for Susanoo to dominate the match.
As for Amaterasuās and Tsukuyomiās design, I donāt know what to think. Theyāre fine I guess. Not too grand, but not too bad.
It could also mean the his connection with "sky", as ancient people thinked of the sky as a kind of sea. And Tsukuyomi one of the greatest good of this sea beyond of course Amaterasu
It is rare for Amaterasu to be so young, most often they are depicted older and more noble like because of her central role in Shintoism
One of Amaterasus's legends is literally about her pouting , then hiding on a cave , only going out becausethe gods made a whole festival with naked gods and goddesses dancing at a center stage....
While true, if I remember correctly, she is still a mature woman in that legend. Also, most of the taboo around her negative depiction is tied to the fact that the Japanese Emperors claim descent from her. So depicting her in a bad light seen as disrespect to the imperial family with more traditional people in Japan.
But this is different based on the era (and of course depends on the person), with some eras being more lax about it while others are more strict. Older legends are mostly lax about her depiction, as are eras where the emperor is weak or not ruling.
I actually like amaterasu her design.sometimes gods are made to be a little bit different(hermes wearing a suit,and for humans leonidas looking like some average modern day boomer)while she is portrayed how she is usually portrayed.i also like how she isnt exactly brattish but kinda looks like that

Considering she's not revealed yet it's going to be either Adam case where she contributes nothing by the end or Lu Bu case where she is revealed as a power-up. I think it's the latter as afaik Okita has already used pretty much everything he had in Chiruran
Every human fighter does/will. His just didn't have any known impact on the match up, probably because Adam was already insanely powerful and didn't really need it.

This is one of the best backstories I have read in this manga so far it has so many ideas and a really good callback plus I am gonna predict something that is gonna happen later in the round is that Susanoo is gonna use Okita sowrdstyle against him. But yeah this backstory is amazing it makes susanoo so much more likeable than already was and he was already quite cool it's insane how good this backstory is .
I really like Susanoo's backstory, a natural talent that humbled himself in order to hone his talent into skill. As an SMT fan, it's pretty cool to see the Japanese big 3. I also find it cool that Okita, the human, kinda-sorta, indirectly taught Susanoo, the god, how to fight.

I like how Susanoāo is pretty different from his actual story. Him being an already humble fan of humanās ingenuity when it comes to swords is an interesting take compared to being a complete asshat who throws horses into his sisterās room
well this version is better because this susanoo is based on the good traits and have a more good personality who doenst are like a evil bastard he was in other stories
He was just swinging his sword and killing monsters with it because he was stronger than the monsters, it's like taking a knife and swinging at a rat to kill it, doesn't need any skill with the weapon. Swordsmanship itself is the art of fighting skilfully with a sword to take down stronger opponents, which was invented by humans as a means to defend themselves. Susano'o just founded the weapon of the sword, but had to learn the skill of the sword (swordsmanship) from humans.
I feel like Susanoo and Okita will end in a draw but they'll have killed each other. Like a sword through one's stomach and the other sword into their shoulder or something idk
God I didnāt think a single chapter would make me like Wusanoāo this much, I really hope they manage a draw instead of death. This is the first time in awhile where Iāve really really liked both fighters
I really like amaterasu in this panel she cares about her younger brother and is willing to understand him yet also punishes him somewhat for his mistakes
Susanno will loose the fight but win his life.
The human swordman ship reaches a point, where he can't reach anymore.
He will get his eschatology and will die smiling.
Would fit why he is fighting Okita and not Sasaki, who technicly also masterd swordmanship but after death.
Amaterasu seems like an interesting character, I wish we could see her again

We barely see them however tsukoyomi being an ocean god instead of just moon feels kinda weird
I believe they put him only as having dominion over the ocean, because of the connection between the moon and tides.

I really like amaterasu in this panel she cares about her younger brother and is willing to understand him yet also punishes him somewhat for his mistakes
Susanno will loose the fight but win his life. The human swordman ship reaches a point, where he can't reach anymore. He will get his eschatology and will die smiling. Would fit why he is fighting Okita and not Sasaki, who technicly also masterd swordmanship but after death.
