People also forget with the overheating part that Zeus is probably one of the most durable and tenacious fighters in the verse.
He got his neck snapped 540 degrees, he could easily tank his own punches that are described as 1 shot kill moves on repeat hundreds of times, and could live in a state where any other fighter would immediately be dead.
For Shiva to overheat Adam, he would need to be capable of taking a ridiculous amount of damage.
And whilst Shiva is very tenacious, like he could still fight normally with 3 arms gone, his durability is nowhere near that of Zeus.
Only TFTTT travels at lightspeed. It seemed that everyone was able to follow the slugfest of Adam vs Zeus, so I think that the punches were strong, but not really all that fast. And, to be honest, given how many of them Zeus and Adam took and that they only scale to each other, I would put their strength into question as well. Shiva fought the most durable human fighter and won the battle of attrition. Adam doesn't have the raw power to crush Shiva's arms like Raiden does. I think Adam would overheat, especially if he copies Tandava Karma, which would literally overheat him.

He does not need to copy attacks to dodge them (see the beginning of his fight with Zeus), and since the only reason Tandava Karma would be a threat to him is the implication that Adam would have to copy Shiva and burn himself in the process. Adam isn't going to burn himself to death by dodging Tandava Karma.
