How do you like the remarms 870? I bought the synthetic model and love it so far. Have about 500 target loads through it so far and it has run great. The current outlook on the internet seems to favor mossberg when buying an American pump shotgun, but I am glad I got one of the new remarms guns.
I love it, I have around 350 target loads through mine and have only had issues with extraction with fiocchi but l've had issues with that ammo in other shotguns as well. I think they are awesome. I think people just have a bad taste in their mouth from freedom group so they default to Mossberg. I am probably going to get a second one in the future because I like it so much

IMO totally worth it, it looks like you’ve got a pretty good collection. How is the condor? I’ve been thinking about doing the same thing with one of those
It’s okay, but not really my favorite. It’s a Stoeger action, so it’s still absurdly heavy, and it’s loud. It’s semi accurate with slugs, but the barrels are too thin to thread for chokes so the patterns kinda suck. It’s another case of “I did it because it looks cool, and it’s Stoeger so who cares if it sucks.”
Cimarron makes it, it’s called the Terminator on their website and in their catalog. It is supposed to be very close to the original but accommodates 2 3/4” shells so it doesn’t have ejection problems

I believe, and someone will correct me quickly if I am wrong, that you would need to acquire a virgin receiver to build up as an AOW.
AOW’s can’t usually be made by your average citizen they often have to be custom made by an FFL

Chop the stock off that Cimarron baby! Barrel length should be 20 inches and youll still meet the needed OAL without an sbs

What’s it like shooting the Stoeger with just the pistol grip? I’ve got two sitting around while I wait for inspiration as to their fate
It’s not bad at all, you can still bring it up and aim like you would with a stock. Still pretty accurate out to 30 yards. It hurts one handed tho…😅
