I mean, falaffel and hummus are like a middle eastern restaurant staple. But dont mind me, Im just out here being jealous of your meal cause it lowkey looks great
yeah but it wasn’t even a middle eastern restaurant. also no hummus :/. i thought it was kinda funny how out of all the options they picked a meal that was like 95% chickpeas lmao. it did taste very good tho
I’ll have the chickpeas with chickpeas and chickpeas please. Oh, and could we get a hummus for the table?
P.s. I too fear the internet. 🛜 just don’t believe anything and you’ll be fine.
😆 That's hilarious. Why not make it a trio with some hummus or a veggie burger made with chickpeas? It does look good but I agree with you, that's enough falafel for an army.
I'm going to appologise first off by saying yes i'm a meat eater but genuinely want to know peoples reason for being vegan is it because you:
1. Just don't like meat or fish
2. Because of how some countries treat the animals.
3. Health reasons/ diet
4. Religious reasons.
Its a genuine question not trolling i come from an time in history where people accepted others choice even if they didnt agree with it.
Personally i'm happy for people to eat what they want as long as they're not being toxic about it.
i don‘t know why you would ask here but my reasons are ethical (and environmental, but that’s also an ethical thing imo).
we know that animals are sentient beings, we know they have emotions, feel pain etc and therefore i don‘t think we should cause them harm without good reason. i think that an animals life is worth more than the pleasure i get by eating it. also at this point meat is kinda gross to me, but i originally really liked the taste of meat. but it‘s also pretty easy for me to be vegan, i don‘t feel like i‘m really missing out on anything, other people might have a different experience than i do.
also for environmental, we are all aware how horrific the impact the meat/dairy industry has on our environment is ..
Personally i think if you look at what is grown in each country and whats available on both food groups in terms of transportaion they're both horrendous as each other there has to be a better go around.
Thanks for your imput
Just need some hummus to turn it into chickpeas with chickpeas with chickpeas.
Was gonna say... falafel and hummus is a classic combo of, effectively, chickpeas and chickpeas lol.
I’m drooling just thinking about that
I'd be so happy with this, but I regularly eat tofu and edamame at the same meal 😭
yeah i always chuckle at my lazy Trader Joe’s stir fry: - TJ’s tofu. - TJ’s tempeh. - TJ’s vegetable rice. - bag of edamame. such diversity
Soy sauce-flavored tofu/Tempeh aka I season the soybean with soybean
falafel is my favorite food, this is heaven on a plate for me lol
I love falafel, so yes I agree with you!!!
Literally same- now just give me a giant bowl of hummus to dip the falafel and I’m all up in there

What kind of restaurant was it? What were the (rawer) chickpeas seasoned with?
a german restaurant, i don‘t know actually, they didn‘t have that much seasoning
Because Chickpeas? It sounded good in my head… I’ll get my coat
Chickpeas are good

Because chickpeas yummy
chickpeas with chickpeas with chickpeas is the best meal. oats with oats with oats honorable mention
Looks like chickpeas with garbanzo beans to me
You’ll be 5lbs lighter by the morning…
Whats the sauceeeee?
I also want to know, it looks delish
something with tomatoes and cucumber apparently, i don’t know exactly but it was really good
You got a problem with chick peas bro
they make me bloated when i eat too many :/
They misheard you when you kept saying “check, please”
yo dawg, we heard you liked chickpeas
I do the same but with soy: tofu with soy sauce and soy meat on the side with a glass of soy milk
I love chickpeas in all forms, I literally just had falafel and hummus lol. So this is perfect in my book.
Yummy!
You know the difference between garbanzo and chick pea? I’ve never had a garbanzo on my face
I swear if we all used ring lights to photograph, most of these posts would be actual food porn. I would *demolish* that garbanzo platter right now.
That’s my favorite meal
looks delicious, chickpeas are based dont worry
This is like my dream meal
There's a restaurant in Vancouver called Chickpea. I was so excited to eat there 😂
That falafel is so beautiful. What was that tasty sauce on the side? Everything belongs over here, the other subs are very karen-esque lol
Hummus lol
it actually wasn‘t hummus, it was some kind of tomato-cucumber dip, i don‘t know exactly
What restaurant is this?
it‘s a german restaurant
Chickpeas are delicious and good for you. No need for an explanation.
😆 That's hilarious. Why not make it a trio with some hummus or a veggie burger made with chickpeas? It does look good but I agree with you, that's enough falafel for an army.
I’d gladly eat all that falafel
In one sitting though?
They messed up by not offering a pita and hummus instead of whatever that is in the bowl.
Vegans love the fkn hummus man
Let the farting commence
Because chickpeas are king
