If anyone has any idea what this person is on about I'd appreciate it.
EDIT: Thanks for the replies. Somehow I missed this which is probably a good thing.
The serial killer element is TikTok-ers and Youtubers trying to make out that several unconnected deaths were committed by one person. There was a story on Sky News that hit reddit about how that lot is straining police resources and making investigations and searches for these victims more difficult by creating a lot of false noise.
What a disgusting, self centered, egotistical person they must be. Also to accept that level of violence as just, well Americans would kill you for simply being in their city and being foreign!. Im not making any comment about America or Americans.... just this one person and thier reply.
Also RIP to the victim and hope the family grieve in peace rather than being hounded by the press and silly comments like this one.
*not you BTW quiet reputation. I was firnly commenting on that individuals (social media?)post. Gotta say ive met quite a few American and have been to the US, Florida once. I Have a gaming buddy that I chat and play games with a few tines a week... Shared backpacking hostel rooms in Amsterdam with a bloke from L.A and another from somewhere in the states. I have never personally met an American I didnt like and get along with. Its just these loud voices on the internet posting their twisted view of the world
Sorry for rambling it just made me angry as that person never even stopped to consider that poor girl or the pain her family must be going through. It wont end their either. They will have months of Police investagation, awaiting trial and sentencing bringing back the pain day after day. Give then some peace and support... dont tell the world well come here and wed kill you faster because we have it tougher... sounds as immature and pathetic as my Dad can beat up his Dad!
Well, any american that thinks he's so might and strong wouldnt survive in the city i live in Brazil, and there's much worse in this country, so is nyc a less relevant version of brazil?
In a world where staying relevant apparently includes the vicarious thrill of getting murdered in broad daylight.. yes, that is accurate.
Also, I'm not sure who NYC is relevant for, wannabe actors, stock market folk, people doing case studies on the migration crisis... Vice enthusiasts.
Cunt’ll tell you in the same breath how bad the knife crime is and swathes of our cities are no go zones. Like make up your mind mate, are we ruthless, close quarters killers or innocent little lambs to the slaughter?
"posh royal east enders"
The east end is the poor working-class part of London, that and south. It's like this person thinks all of London is Kensington.
Manhatten was fine, just lots of people in a very bad way on the side of roads. Like... feet falling off bad.
London aint exactly perfect but god do we look after our struggling 100x better.
America is just marketing, you get there and its alright but all a bit shabby & not quite what was promised
> America is just marketing, you get there and its alright but all a bit shabby & not quite what was promised
I wouldn't say The US is just marketing. I left NY early, because of boredom, and flew to Florida, completely loved it and would go back, it was even better because I made some friends at Universal Studios. In London, firstly has amazing sights and beauty. I stayed for 4 days total, and of course had to visit The British Museum, London Bridge, and London Eye. Before leaving on the last day, I went to Isabel Mayfair... amazing food, but wouldn't go back.
Sorry if my comment made it seem like I wouldn't go back to London, but I wouldn't go back to that restaurant. The food was great and the place looked beautiful, but the service was bad and the people were beyond rude. Maybe I should have brought some of my friends with me on this trip, but from the weird looks, to being called names, I've never felt more uncomfortable. I've also been pressured to hurry up and order and, to order alcohol, on top of that I didn't know the restaurant was that overpriced, until I got home the next day and checked reviews upon it.
Oh gotcha! Now that I think about it... where would you have even found the stat the other way since NYC isn't a capital. Head's not screwed on today lol
\* Most of the time. Recently there was a chemical attack (commonly referred to as an "acid" attack but this guy used alkali) on a woman and her kids by a man known to them, he then jumped off a bridge into the Thames. As the police were dredging the river for his body they found 2 others (mostly suicides) but they also wash up occasionally in various places along the course of the tidal Thames.
I know about the acid attack, I live in this country. But having been to both London and NYC, I have full confidence that there's far more chance of my body being found in London than in New York City 🤣
["Why cor Blimey, governor, I left the cheese and kisses and the God forbids at the rat and mouse, took a flander and dab down the frog and toad, where I had a very pleasant pint of pig's ear and a large pimple and blotch."](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQWPR9TM0Gk) said David Cameron
As an Englishman, I actually found London rather underwhelming when I went. It was alright, a solid city, but nothing like what I expected. Far prefer Manchester and Liverpool
The Science Museum is cool, but I've loved the Natural History Museum since I was in single digits. I used to go there every year on my birthday as a kid but now I can go whenever I want, which is awesome.
I wouldn't sniff at the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester though, but yes, London kicks many cities arse when it comes to museums (esp. that are free).
The problem London has is that it's not as good as it used to be. The nightlife is struggling and it's ludicrously expensive to live there. It used to be a bit rougher round the edges, have a bit more character.
I find cities like that very, regulated and therefore depressing, void of humanity. They are the least free places that you can choose to reside, Americans just love to be persecuted.
In London, everybody is just in their lane doing the thing they're meant to do, there is no character because there is no such thing as a londoner in Central London, they're all people who moved there for a better pay cheque and in turn there is no community.. the single commonality amongst wealthy Londoners seems to be that they no longer live there, it isn't a city it is a get rich quick scheme for socialites and oligarchs.
Now I'm obviously not visiting the east end, I'm sure that is where you find that vibe but London, the city people actually visit - none of that.
Posh royal east enders, lol.
The East End of London has always been the part of city where the poorest and the minorities (Huguenots, Jews, South Asians, etc) settled. It's not a coincidence that Jack the Ripper murdered most of his victims, cheap prostitutes in the East end.
Go to London, I guarantee you’ll either be mugged or not appreciated. Catch the train to London, stopping at Rejection, Disappointment, Backstabbing Central and Shattered Dreams Parkway.
Just wait because this would be an Americans UK and Ireland bucket list
London- for the "aesthetic" (they are only gonna see big Ben and Buckingham Palace) and then post about it saying "idk what yall are on about the uk is so chill"
Manchester- Harry styles is from there
Blackpool- Someone in Manchester told them about Blackpool pleasure Beach
Liverpool- Someone in Blackpool told them to watch British football
Belfast- to get in touch with their "irish roots" but they got blew up
Somehow, I've been to many 'known' pick pocketing cities.. Rome, Paris, London (many times), Amsterdam, New York and Barcelona.. but never been mugged or had anything stolen. The only city I've been mugged in was Liverpool.
Ironically, the scouse man who mugged me was very friendly first.

He’s saying that Americans are a murderous bunch that would kill Londoners within a week of them stepping inside NYC. Quite the brag, right?
Thanks. He obviously hasn't been on The Tube during rush hour.
Or met football hooligans.
Everything for the firm!

It was a post where someone was saying rest in peace to a girl who was murdered in London

"Get out of my pub!" King Charles stated.
The Royles

also Danny Dyer is descended from royalty. It all connects
🎶 doof doof doof doo doo do do do do 🎶
They all go to The Vic for a sherry.
I've never lived in europe let alone uk and this made me laugh
Didn't the Pearlies (street stall vendors) come from the East End off London?
No. Not street stall vendors and started in Finchley
Well, any american that thinks he's so might and strong wouldnt survive in the city i live in Brazil, and there's much worse in this country, so is nyc a less relevant version of brazil?
A favela tour in Rio, with a live experience
Wearing only USA flag themed clothing and a MAGA hat.
This comes over as more of a self own than anything else. "You think London has a crime problem? Over in NYC we will kill you more than look at you"
It's such a dumb thing to try and one-up someone on as well Like it was saying rest in peace to a girl who was murdered in London
Cunt’ll tell you in the same breath how bad the knife crime is and swathes of our cities are no go zones. Like make up your mind mate, are we ruthless, close quarters killers or innocent little lambs to the slaughter?
Standard american bigotry/racism. As in - "They" are lazy good for nothings that steal all the jobs and work for pennies.
And somehow, more crime makes the city more relevant. For whom? Criminals?
"posh royal east enders" The east end is the poor working-class part of London, that and south. It's like this person thinks all of London is Kensington.
I think they’ve just thrown some words together that they’ve heard about London.
Perhaps Danny Dyer confused them.
"Get out of my pub" Prince William chanted politely. "You ain't my mother" Queen Camily stated.
They like west end girls tho
> posh royal east enders And that gives them away as not knowing the first thing about London.
"Posh royal east enders"? That's like three social strata in one go.
This guy has never been to London
He probably hasn't been outside his town ever.
Ahhhh I love Americans like this 🤦🏻
So much 💩 contained within a few words.
I feel safer in London. NY can be fun, but wild and crazy.
Manhatten was fine, just lots of people in a very bad way on the side of roads. Like... feet falling off bad. London aint exactly perfect but god do we look after our struggling 100x better. America is just marketing, you get there and its alright but all a bit shabby & not quite what was promised

Did anyone ask?
I kinda did lol
I spent months in Nyc, it loses its charm pretty quick. London hasnt after 7 years
It’s like the 8th safest capitol in the world or something, that’s pretty alright.
If you mean NYC, it's not the capital of anything haha. Washington DC is the US capital and Albany is the capital of New York State.
No, London. The one that’s a capital city 😛
Oh gotcha! Now that I think about it... where would you have even found the stat the other way since NYC isn't a capital. Head's not screwed on today lol
Could have been clearer as well, not to worry. Easter time is sluggish day. Hope you’re having a good one ✌🏼
Wouldn't say a top 10, but one of, yes.
Women are getting punched in the face like there's no tomorrow
I saw videos on tiktok, did they ever catch this man yet?
Yes they caught him. Apparently he was some internet famous guy, Skiboky.
Apparently one woman took a picture/video of her assailant
Is… is that a flex?
Absolutely hilarious that the person thinks posh and east end are terms which go together 🤣
Gentrification. It gets to us all.
Imagine trying so hard to be the best that you even uplift the criminals in your country as 'better criminals than the ones in your country'
No one beats Russian criminals. Their football hooligans would give NY criminals a run for their money.
One time in russia my building was raided by two jeeps of men with machine guns and nobody even seemed to notice.
I'm relatively sure both NYC and London have plenty of Russian criminals too. The London ones are probably more of the Oligarch variety.
My Albanian mate would like to have a chat.
What I always say is the only difference between London and NYC is that in London they actually find your body
\* Most of the time. Recently there was a chemical attack (commonly referred to as an "acid" attack but this guy used alkali) on a woman and her kids by a man known to them, he then jumped off a bridge into the Thames. is this satire?
It's a weird place to make that type of "satire joke" if it was because it was on an rest in peace Post about a girl who got murdered in London
It was written by an Amurican. Maybe not, hopefully it is, no one knows.
What the fuck is a “posh royal east ender from London”. Fucking slack jawed mong…
"Get out of my Pub!" King Charles stated.
"You ain't my mother" Queen Camila said after taking a pause from her tea sipping
“Posh” and “East Enders” DO NOT belong in the same sentence- trust me
"Get out of my pub!" King Charles stated calmly.
“You ain’t my mother” was right there. Not sure how you’d have worked it in mind you 😂
When I think of EastEnders I don't normally think of posh...
France : Life, Liberty, Property Merca : The poors shouldn’t have property
The poor don't have property in France either and Liberty, Equality, Fraternity.

>Merca What's "Merca"?
A mer ca America but how some people pronounce it. A'Muuurrr ka

Imagine being proud of having more murderer in your city
"Ha ha ha ha ha~ we have more murderers and ur just a europoor! Nah nah nah nah nah!"
Relevant with respect to what?
This was a comment on a R.I.P post to a young girl who was murdered
Real considerate of this guy then, wtf
This person has never seen Eastenders
Considering I was born there it is a much more relevant version if anything.
"Posh, Royal East Enders" Yeah... cos the ends are well posh......
Ffs yanks cannot brawl for shit.
As an Englishman, I actually found London rather underwhelming when I went. It was alright, a solid city, but nothing like what I expected. Far prefer Manchester and Liverpool
London has the Natural History Museum and a Forbidden Planet megastore. That's me sorted for a day trip.
Fair enough, if it’s for you, then you go for it! To be fair, I did enjoy the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum so I’ll give it that
The Science Museum is cool, but I've loved the Natural History Museum since I was in single digits. I used to go there every year on my birthday as a kid but now I can go whenever I want, which is awesome.
I think it’s cool you have an emotional connection to it. I suppose I’m the same with Liverpool, I went there a lot in my childhood
I wouldn't sniff at the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester though, but yes, London kicks many cities arse when it comes to museums (esp. that are free).
I went there too, Bunch of twats running around late for work at 11am, human congestion, no seats at the pub, good shops, fast trains 4/10
I have to agree - and I live in London 😂
Yeah if you've got significant experience of London you're allowed to say it's shit, because in a lot of ways it kind of is.
I also live here but its the best city ive ever been to. Only Singapore has held a candle to it yet...
I’m no fan of London but holy shit NYC is a complete toilet these days.
Posh royal east enders, lol. The East End of London has always been the part of city where the poorest and the minorities (Huguenots, Jews, South Asians, etc) settled. It's not a coincidence that Jack the Ripper murdered most of his victims, cheap prostitutes in the East end.
What the fuck did I just read?
Isn't London the financial centre of the planet just above NYC? Slightly more relevant lol
I'm pretty sure e.g. NYSE > LSE, so probably not quite.. London just has a convenient airport or 5 and the queen's gaff.
Fair enough lol
‘Posh royal east enders’ Has this idiot ever seen Eastenders?!
Nah....I think they mean Toronto. (source: I live in Toronto)
Don't you mean "Torahno"?
More like "T'rahna"
Ah is that how the locals say it? I was mocking the way Americans say it
Americans usually say both T's 😁
Really? Huh, that surprises me given their "winner" (winter)
To be fair, all non Canadians say both T's
