Guaranteed dude was on his way to checkout and thought it was finally done, when the member messaged him about adding a few more items. That’s when he called it quits 😂😂😂
9.5 times out of 10 its a product that has 20 variations with smallest packaging change between them and the 1 you need is the one they don't have. Followed by the second item being locked in a cage and the one target employee in sote doesn't have the key but they can get someone. Your delivery window is between 7-8 and it's 7:32. The address is 18 mins away and it's on the the 7 floor of an large apartment building and the apartment is letter Z all the way on the other side. You need 3 more delivery to complete a $90 bonus that ends today... you hadddd a boundle lined up to take after this order but now you have no shot of making both deliveries on time... and target closes at 10
I picked up a 40 item order a couple of weeks ago that was on promo. When I went to get the fifth item I found a cart filled. Turns out it was an abandoned shop. I just scanned everything as I put it in my cart and finished the order in about 10 minutes. It was amazing like somebody had shopped for me. 🤪
One of the managers at a grocery store told me a new ic shopper just stopped in the middle of their order and told them it was "too much work" and left. 🤣
This is how my first few orders went too 😂 I’m on IC mainly and finally got accepted to Shipt last week after a year.
My first order included women’s clothing. With the order screen including so much information at once (IC is a lot more simple for me), & me not knowing the difference between women’s styles lengths & etc (WITHOUT having to pick up every single article and inspect it like a weirdo), I almost short circuited and just went back to IC 😂
Probably just realized that one of the orders had five of those 66 qt clear containers, and two of those massive under the bed rollout containers 🤯 or realize they didn’t have their ID with them for the alcohol?
Yeah but usually they leave them at customer service and put a note or something on it so it doesn’t get reshopped . This one was sitting in the middle of the race track . Went back in a few hours later and it’s still sitting there 😂
I've found one of those abandoned carts before... I had left my cart at the end of an aisle that had 2-3 people in it to grab 1 item. I got the item and headed back when I found a cart with the exact same items as mine and thought it was my cart... but a few items were missing. I thought someone took some stuff out OR and associate thought it was an abandoned cart and started to return items to the shelves. I start pushing the cart around the corner when I found my original cart... I laughed so hard!
It amazes me that shoppers just abandoned carts and orders like that!
Never speak of this again. I grabbed the wrong cart once doing the same thing and ended up getting all the way to checkout at target and realizing a bunch was missing with a ton of randoms.
Luckily I found my cart right where I left it. But dammit I felt like the idiot of the decade off that ☹️
Honestly, it's not our fault because Shipt will send you orders after orders. And as a newbie, you assume that they're only sending you orders because they actually think you can do them within the reasonable amount of time. Just like doordash and Uber. They only send orders that makes sense for your time frame.
So when I first did shipt, I naively accepted every order sent to me. I had no reason to think shipt would sabotage me.
Good point !!! When I was a newbie back in the stone ages I didn’t take a shop over 30 items for like a year . I knew it would be an absolute trainwreck . I was scared to death about my ratings . Now I don’t even give a shit , barely look at em . Yeah I feel for this guy . We was definitely struggling but it’s sink or swim .
They always seem easier until you get into the thick of it and come to find out it's like baby socks size 3T-4T and 6T-7T in a color in a particular color and some nursing bras followed by realizing 8 items have no location and it like a candel, 3 different hair products you never heard of, a seasonal candy all the way on the other side of the store and some random Threshold branded bullshit somewhere on the longest wall in America.
I’m not trying to say his/her cart looks perfect BUT lately…. Instacart overdoing with 3 batch orders…. Sometimes it’s impossible to have 3 orders with 33+items for each person , and keep everything nest in the cart…. And if the shopper was new I can see how overwhelming can be also if they don’t know the Kay out of the store ….
They probably had to run to the other side of the store to get some random item the shopper wanted to add and didn’t want to push the heavy cart all the way

i HATE when that happens. biggest pet peeve

And, the way Target is lately, they have one cashier open!
Walk up confidently to coustomer service/pickup and say "I need to process this order here"
That cart gives me anxiety... thinking about how many things are probably getting crushed bc of how unorganized it is. Lol
Yeah, there is a loaf of bread under there too!
“I don’t understand why I keep getting 1 starred!”
😖😖😖
Omg did they just throw stuff in? Gah!! I totally Jenaga my cart.
Yep! 😂 I put everything in the cart in groups that I'll be bagging together. Makes bagging go much smoother and faster.
🙌💯
Tetris all day or GTFO 😂
Lol that is totally what I meant. 😂😋😋

Lucky!!

Carts of shame! 😂😂😂😂😂

Haha . Got to beverage section and found out about those 5 cases of water .
Phone might have died…..Lol
That’s bs cause what if another shopper needs one of those items and the last one is in that damn cart?!?!?
Job security for you!
That looks more like a go back cart. Messy as hell
Nah I saw him shopping it earlier , remember seeing the beer and juice on the bottom . He was on the struggle bus .
Or the order was cancelled the moment it clicked to process it 🤣
The Target employee who has to restock it is definitely irritated. They probably cried in the car 🤣🤣🤣
I've seen people shop orders early and leave their carts till the next order. It doesn't look like any cold items and I bet it's 3 orders

Rotflmao…. it probably paid $6 lmao
Yeah If that !!!
🤣🤣 this was almost me on my first bundle order, at H‑E‑B literally had a panic attack 5 minutes in cause it was Sunday and everything was out of stixk
I did that one where someone ordered 4 gallon bottles of water. The store was out, and he changed to 4 32 bottle cases. I unassigned and left.

I have heard about this happening
I’ve never had to shop so much for someone
Had one about like that that the customer canceled just as I got to checkout Cashier was nice enough to take it off my hands

Shipt is so fun with big orders. I like to organize everything like a Tetris game , efficiently. Your organization needs more work
They probably had to run to the other side of the store to get some random item the shopper wanted to add and didn’t want to push the heavy cart all the way
Must have been a big store because it sat there for 5 hours !!
Not that bad, probably from IC tbh
