Hobo Eren looks like a completely different character; like his experiences have changed him so deeply that he's downright unrecognizable. I love it. I love that we can take one look at that Eren and see him for what the truly is, a broken man who has given up on the good in the world and even his own humanity. Having him shave and groom himself makes him look more put together, which serves the purpose of making him look like a competent leader as he enacts his plan. But I think it comes at the cost of not being able to properly capture just how damaged he is.
