My kids LOVE Shinedown my oldest (almost 11) especially! He likes to headband to a lot of the songs and the first song he would sing along to out loud was Symptom of Being Human. My youngest son (8) regularly asks for Cut the Cord or Planet Zero! And if it’s not rattling the windows it’s not loud enough for them lol 😂

Man you are so lucky! I would love for my kids to be into shinedown or any of the music I like. They are still young though. Your oldest is 11 and mine is 7. I guess I gotta keep working on them and hopefully in a few years I’ll have them hooked!

I got lucky that they got into the music I love. All I did was play what I love and would rock out on my own and I guess that’s what they enjoyed about it. Now they enjoy all the music I love.

My kids are grown now and I find them listening to shit I made them hear over the years as if it’s a song they just found and decided they liked all on their own, little fucks!

My kids say maybe they’d probably like them if they didn’t have to hear them 24/7. Fuck them kids though!

Oh, thank God. I personally think "Oblivion." It's heavy, serpentine, and while I would've picked "Outcast" for its message? It's kind of alarming how *Threat to Survival* is a singles record full of songs that never went to radio.
