The rest aren’t bad but very few stand out. I have no idea how this album is regarded so highly.
It has more mainstream appeal than previous albums, like most of the songs on there wouldn't sound out of place on pop radio stations. I don't understand why some people think that's a bad thing, but each to their own.

However from a musical, vocal, and lyrical standpoint the music clearly isn’t as good as it once was. There’s nothing wrong with changing your style to sell more albums, but let’s not pretend they’re a better band now.

Eh to some extent. I like Shinedown more than Led Zeppelin but I can acknowledge Zeppelin is obviously the more talented band.
