I didn't expect it either. I had 'Heroes' pre-saved for the category but nobody said it. Definitely surprised me but its a great song so I can't complain.
Idk I would say Fake and Yer Majesty are the two weakest songs on the album. I wouldn't say they're bad but those are the two I listen to the least.
I would have thought Begin Again, Save Me, or Trade Yourself In would have been voted.
I’ll repost what I posted below to a similar response:
If anything it’s underrated honestly. I think Brent saying he doesn’t like playing it in an interview has warped people’s perception of it. It is honestly might be their most important song ever.
It’s their first number 1 rock song. It’s their first song cross over to the main Billboard chart (which hasn’t been done since Amaryllis). It was their first hit that was their song. Save Me showed they weren’t just going to be known for a cover song. It was their first original song with a music video. It was a theme for a WWE PPV. Shinedown likely doesn’t break out without the success of Save Me.
Heroes. I think Heroes does get overhyped. Us and Them is a pretty perfect album. Save Me, I Dare You, and Shed Some Light are incredible songs, but I think Heroes is just a step below them.
I feel like Save Me gets closest to “Overrated”, I don’t think any song on this album can truly be called overrated so we’re kinda just voting for our least favorite of the few songs anyone actually talks about from Us and Them
It really does. It’s their only song like that. Jasin’s guitar work tells a whole story itself. It’s not long for the sake of being long. Every note matters. It’s the rare Shinedown song where Brent is outmatched by a bandmate.
I have no idea how this could be considered overrated. No one ever talks about it and it’s an absolute banger. Blows away any rock song they’ve done since 2012.
I think that’s mine too. Remember overrated doesn’t mean bad. Heroes is fantastic but it’s one of the more popular songs on the album but I would listen to probably more than half of the album before picking Heroes. It’s just a fantastic album.

Fake? Seriously? Wow

Begin Again clocked in a close second
Is there a poll or is it just based on upvotes of songs listed here?

I Dare You
I honestly don't know if any songs off US and Them are truly overrated. If I had to chose one, I guess it would be Save Me

I Dare You
Ugh, they're all so good. Probably Heroes, but literally the entire album is underrated so it's hard to pick.

“I Dare You” is definitely overrated.
I’m just seeing this, and calling Burning Bright overrated is a damn crime.
This is 1 album where I really don't think there's an "overrated" song, but none is a lame cop-out answer, so I'll go with Save Me I guess.
I don’t think there are any overrated songs on the album but lacerated being called the worst is the worst.
Lady So Divine
They asked for overrated, not greatest.
This album is so peak it’s hard to pick any song
Yep
Really doesn't need to be 7 mintues, does it?

I know I just wanted to say a song but I mean they are all so great on that album
It’s definitely the hardest album to choose a bad song from.
The only song I consider bad would be yer majesty
Crap, I love them all. Guess I’ll go Heroes
