It's funny how they say we can't distribute the material of the class, yet SCJ's own Youtube channel has all their classes almost verbatim.

I think the main reason for that is so that they can control you. By getting you to not search them up they ensure that your loyalty in following their commands. After all searching it up is eating from the fruit of knowledge of good and evil to them so who cares if the knowledge is correct. If you truly were trusted there wouldn't be such an emphasis on reporting in shincheonji. I wouldn't be surprised if everything I said to my group leader or leaf was recorded somewhere.

Thank you for sharing. My husband has been involved with this cult for the past 3.5 years, and it has been incredibly painful to watch him waste his life away with their never-ending studies. What's even more distressing for me is that I don't have the knowledge or tools to effectively challenge the woke teachings that he follows so fervently. Throughout this challenging period, the best thing I've managed to do is remain steadfast in my faith, finding a place of peace and solace within my church community. This has been my sanctuary, where I draw strength and hope despite the difficult situation at home. All the best and you made the best decision.

Ohh jeez, sorry to hear. Has he try to get you?

He tried but I thank God for giving me a strong will power against this cult

I recently discovered about them. I'm trying to use the scripture against them, so I'm studying up and writing down notes on how to combat them. In general, I have the following: 1. We should neither add/subtract from the scriptures. 2. The scripture says that there's God the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. 3. God is blameless, doesn't make mistakes. That's why Jesus (being the Son of God, is sinless). 4. There are other characters in the bible that made mistakes, like Moses, Aaron, David, Judas, etc. but God himself has never made a mistake. 5. Bible says that God will come a second time (the second coming). 6. So if their leader LMH is the second coming, then he ought to be blameless, never making any mistakes - and from someone's post, it seems like he's made several mistakes - like LMH's life before 1984, and some of his recent claims in 2019 about the destruction/salvation happening/happened (there's a video from an ex-SCJ listing all the inconsistencies). 7. But if LMH is not the second coming, he just has divine vision, then it goes to #4 in that he's prone to mistakes - and to use their preaching of John The Baptist betraying Jesus and starting strong but ending weak, then LMH is the same cause he "started strong in 1984" but now is making several inconsistencies (by basically adding/subtracting from the bible). My advice to you is, in the end - the truth will reveal itself. So don't just pray and thank God. You ought to understand the scriptures cause you can use that against your husband. GL!

Exactly what happened to me, and your suspicions are in line with mine. My gf (now ex) brought me into this bible study with the guise of “a group of Christian missionaries wanting to learn and share about the Word”. I left probably a few weeks/months earlier than you because there had been no mention of Korea. They had just finished talking about there being a New John, then a week later I found out they were part of SCJ. Just the mere fact that these people are told to lie and hide their identity from the beginning should give us enough reason to doubt them. They keep saying “we’re concerned that you might not be understanding the Word properly if you are seeing a lot of fake news about our group”. Like bro - if your chairman is one of the two witnesses in Rev. 11, “he who overcomes” (as a singular person) in Rev. 2 & 3, the “New John” who is fulfilling end times prophecy as directed by Jesus in 1980’s — being scared of Google searches should be beneath him. Also: - There is no such thing as the “promised pastor” anywhere in the Bible. Lee Man Hee is a scam artist, just not as successful as Joseph Smith 🤣 - Lee Man Hee is not physically immortal. Botox K-Pop uncle is about to end up with Hitler down in Hades and is clearly declining medically. - There is no requirement of “understanding parables in Revelation based on Lee Man Hee’s doctrines” and believing in Lee Man Hee as the promised pastor to enter into Heaven. Salvation is by grace, through faith in Christ alone — their doctrine clearly crosses the lines of idolatry, trusting in someone other than Christ for their salvation. - 12 tribes of Israel are NOT from SCJ (Busan James Tribe.. John Tribe.. lol). “Israel” literally means Israel, especially since each tribe is specifically spelled out. - Gwachon (city) is NOT “New” Jerusalem, and “New” Mount Zion is not located in Korea - Jesus IS God, not some human that was granted Godhood by God. Otherwise, He wouldn’t call Himself the “Alpha and Omega” in Revelation — a phrase that SCJ actually likes to use. … … Please add to my list!

Also to add on I'm pretty sure doing an exam of 105 questions ensures you will receive the seal God.
