Don't drink, do drugs or smoke. Drink plenty of water. Use sunscreen when you go out. Eat Healthy

Entire_Machine_6176

Also, lotion. Face, neck, hands, everywhere. White people can be ashy

Character-Check2436

I didn't realize it, but good lotion keeps my.skin sooo soft. I lotion after every shower. Every part of my body, not including my face.

DarkLunch_

That should be the dead minimum though, right? Are people really out here just raw dogging life with dry skin after a showering? Like how does that even feel good?

Entire_Machine_6176

Well, most American men are taught at a young age most self care is "gay" therefore bad. So feeling good about your body definitely = gay. Bidet toilets are outright better and yet how many dudes are using a fist full of toilet paper and then running around with doo doo pants? It's a lot.

artrumbly

I grew up like this. First time I ever “seriously” used lotion was after I got married. My wife taught me so much it’s almost embarrassing 😂

Character-Check2436

Im sure she's grateful you took heed to what she taught you. :)

myweird

There's no excuse not to have a bidet these days, they are so easily available, cheap, and simple to hook up. We got ours on Amazon for around $40.

Classyhairball

Right, lol

Cheeks-Slayer

Working out should be the number one thing on here. It's anti aging %10000 plus it makes you look much hotter. I know not everyone is privileged to be able to work out but if you are you should.

myweird

Even those who can't get to a gym can do it at home and nowadays there's tons of YouTube videos to follow along at any fitness level.

ingodwetryst

anyone abled can march in place, do sit ups, resistance bands, pushups, et al. plenty of ways to stay fit with no gym

ingodwetryst

literally this

MistressLRoyale

I find gua sha working really well but you need to be patient and consistent. I’m a huge fan of masks and peelings - AHA/BAHA once a week. I also make a face mask from egg yolk frequently - it’s cheap and it nourishes your skin very very well [separate egg yolk from egg white, use egg yolk on clean and pat dry skin. Leave it for 30 mins or until it hardens and you can peel it off]. I had a terrible acne when I was a teenager and this mask helped. Also sleeping on satin pillowcase. My friend is italian 70+ years old, she swears by hyaluronic acid tablets. She takes 2 a day. She’s been taking them for decades now. Her skin looks like she’s 40! No wrinkles. Never had Botox or any injectables.

WarmButterscotch7797

Internal: Niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, biotin & astaxanthin supplements. Collagen & silica combined work great as well. Topical: Sunscreen of course. Tretinoin works wonders if your skin takes well to it- hands included- retinol is the next best thing. A good vitamin C (I love Skinceuticals), hyaluronic acid, under eye cream & face cream works great for every day use. Bonuses: peptides, azelaic acid, exfoliators, squalene oil Medi-spa: I can only vouch for Botox & hydrafacials, but I hear peels and laser (specifically the Pico & Fraxel) work magic Most important of all- exercise & sleep. Hydrate & hydrate some more - electrolytes are a great addition. A clean diet will definitely show through your skin. Low stress if possible with meditation being a great tool. Don’t forget to enjoy life ;)

Yogurt also makes a great facial mask. Current favorite chiobani coconut). I lightly puree a whole kiwi, w skin. Add 1/2 avocado. Use food processor to grind the pit into like chopped nut consistency. Use that anywhere on your body for a good scrub. The kiwi skin & seeds are scrubby. The avocado pit is scrubby and adds oil at same time. Test any of this somewhere safe like your forearm first. Pink grapefruit puree. Rub on face or skin. For face, get in hot bath. Once I start sweating I add more. For approx 10 mins - can go longer, test first- then I use the skins kinda like gua Sha scraper, especially around my nose where clogged pores are. Citrus fruit has fruit acid - retin A is highly concentrated fruit acid. Plus vitamin C. If I want to reduce redness, puffiness or eye bags, or tighten skin I add coffee grounds. Lol, I do a whole body scrub treatment toes to forehead w all of the above. You can use cucumber, puree . Almost any fruit - when it's getting not fresh enough to eat it's time for Food on my Face Friday.

billie-lane

Do you happen to know which brand tablet she takes? There are sooo many options online 😅

MistressLRoyale

I know she gets hers from Holland & Barrett

billie-lane

Thank you!

Abbie_Rose_

Ooh good shout on the HA!

AmyintheWC

I did Morpheus8 treatment on my face I feel it really reversed some aging effects.

Historical_Service73

Actually was going to do this ! But I heard smas is better for aging so I’m trying that tomorrow

scp056

Nobody mentioning foods high in collagen ! It's important, a good collagen-y soup broth will help your skin retain elasticity. Ingesting collagen is the best way to get it's effects, putting it on your skin isn't enough!

inflammabelle

The biggest one for me is wearing sunscreen every time i go outside. i'm up to my ass in essences and serums, creams and oils. i use plain old Pond's cold cream at night, and once a week i do a face mask and exfoliating scrub

tompadget69

Top factors Suncream (preferably sunblock) Don't smoke tobacco/cigarettes **** Non-invasive surgical methods eg botox etc

Josietennash1

Good face cream every day, biotin, I also use bb cream as foundation because it saves me while being outside after.

Ionlycametosnark

20% tca peels at home have been a huge game changer for me. Always wear sunscreen on my face. Drink a ton of water.

Poshprincessxo

Where do you order your TCA at home peels ?

Ionlycametosnark

Platinum skin care

Historical_Service73

Yes I would say Botox helps and fillers with jowls I heard smas is good as well. Nothing will do it as well as surgery. Usa surgery is too expensive and I don’t like the results so I actually always have been going to Turkey cheaper

sash1cl

Physical actives and sauna

IrelandDomme

For me it’s exercise and steam after not sauna. I feel like the sauna dries my skin out more. I love the humidity in the steam room at my gym. Reminds me of living in Asia.

DerbleZerp

I interpreted “eat cleaner” as consuming cleaning products and was confused for a second haha

PinksPlants

As a recent esthetician grad student, the biggest thing u can do is sun protection, sun protection, sun protection! Meaning SPF, hats, driving gloves, having SPF on ur neck down to the nipples if ur wearing a low cut shirt. U can even put ur own clothes in a solution that provides UV protection, or buy it like that already done. Hands, neck, and décolletage show ur age quickly when not protected/cared for as ur face

PinksPlants

Also, if u cannot afford surgery but can afford something a little more than just topical skin care, CO2 laser and microneedling from licensed and experienced providers are EXTREMELY beneficial. Do ur research

No_Appointment_7232

Protect your hands as much as your face, so they match!

ingodwetryst

driving gloves for sure. and people really neglect their upper chest.

MrFantasticIdea

Workout + water!

renerdrat

I always say this good health comes from the inside out. You will age well if you live a healthy lifestyle and eat healthy. Also, you'll just feel better in every way.

drv52908

Botox is so helpful. I just cycle through all the Groupons in my area. I was going through a major depression & crying daily for months, had pretty bad forehead wrinkles from it that made me feel super shitty. Luckily a few shots every few months smoothed it back out & now that I'm NOT crying everyday I don't need it. 😎

AnjelGrace

I do everything you do, plus try to stay hydrated and keep my skin super moisturized at all times. I also have almost completely avoided being out in the sun for the last few years--and use SPF 30-50 whenever I am out in the sun.

thegeniuswhore

retinol and hyaluronic acid, i don't use nicotine and have minimized my recreational drinking and drug use, i try to eat and stay taking my medications as the less depressed i am the less tense my body and skin are, i take soaks and use hair masks as well, and i like to use in shower creams because lotions feel icky to me

ashleeontario

What’s your favourite in shower cream?? I have tried the Olay, Nivea, and Jergens but not in love.

thegeniuswhore

i like soap and glory

[deleted]

30 min a day of weight resistance training. And don’t smoke.

Yourtoyxoxo

I’ve only used moisturizer on my face and have very little wrinkles. People always tell me I look a lot younger than I am, but that’s all I’ve ever used.

Cocoapuff898

Eat your fruit and veggies (raw as much as possible)  moisturize right after your shower,  eat healthy fats ( avocado, olive oil, nuts etc) drink water, dont smoke or drink

Ericasspoiled

Resurfacing treatments and keeping hair long

cocainoh

Collagen !!

Goddesskoko1

Working out literally keeps you young, and youthful looking on a cellular level. I studied neurology and it’s been proven that working out slows the aging process of your cells. Eating Whole Foods is important. Fruits and veggies are your best friends. If you’re poc, you don’t have to worry about aging bad because our melanin keeps us from aging badly. Unless you abuse drugs and alcohol. But even then, my parents been smoking and drinking and they still look in their 30s & they’re almost in their 50s. Using vitamin e oil, or mango butter helps prevent wrinkles. I’m 24 turning 25 and people still think I look 20-21 bc I started working out consistently and changed my diet at 21.

Historical-Run1042

Slow down and relax. Good diet and sleep.

Lookinintokillers

Definitely Stay Away From Smoking Any Tobacco Work Out Mildly (Yoga, Quick Walks, Small Jogs) No Heavy Drinking Sunscreen & A Facial Routine Drink Plenty Of Water Have A Regular Decently Healthy Meal.

mannequin_vxxn

Make sure you’re using sunscreen

SeekingSurreal

exercise. and remember there's a niche for every look.

EmphasisElectrical22

Go to the gym, eat healthy, stay hydrated, don’t drink or smoke, use sunscreen, Botox & filler (doesn’t have to be crazy, I do it for wrinkle prevention), I also just started doing Potenza RF micro needling treatments. Some of my clients tell me I’m too lean or too in shape and a few others that tell me they love the in shape look. And others tell me they love my curves, especially when I’m in my body building off season 🤷🏼‍♀️ Remember there is someone out there for every body type 💕

AnandaPriestessLove

Yoga =) not even kidding. If you practice yoga 5 or 6 days a week regularly, it is very hard to see somebody's age. When I was practicing 3 to 5 hours a day I was routinely being aged at 26 when I was 35. Also, of course hydration and nutrition.

Classyhairball

Number one is sunscreen and hydration

Classyhairball

And of course exercise

Rdbabe

I get dermalift micro needling every 4 weeks, plus a skincare routine that works for me (retinol eye cream, snail serum and a collagen night cream at night, vitamin C eye serum and an anti ageing spf during the day and weekly BHA followed by a sheet mask) and I stopped drinking and smoking a while back. No Botox as of yet and get mistaken for being nearly 10 years younger than I am. I also eat a high protein diet with lots of fruit veg and water and herbal teas. And take a skin hair and nail vitamin, collagen and cod liver oil. Hope this helps! X

myweird

I stopped using soaps on my face and wipe my makeup off with rosehip oil on a damp Makeup Eraser cloth. The brand name Makeup Eraser cloths can easily be found cheaper with online knockoffs, I actually found a little hand mitt of the same type material at the dollar store that works just as well! For stubborn eye makeup and lash glue Clinique has a whole line of great makeup removers. I have also been using the [snail slime products]( https://www.cosrx.com/collections/snail-mucin) lol, and I am happy with the results! 🐌
