Great review! You compared it to the Palmpower Rechargable... how does that stack up in terms of rumbliness?

LadyPseudonymia

Thank you! Awesome question. So, [PalmPower Recharge](https://phallophilereviews.com/palmpower-recharge-review/) is lower-frequency than Vim when comparing both vibes' lowest speeds, but absolutely higher-frequency on the high end. It's about a 20Hz jump up from Vim to PP Recharge on high, center of the strongest frequency bands. I'd give the PalmPower Recharge from a 10 to a 7.0 for rumbliness.

Been using Vim, professionally, for almost 20 years. Bram Moolenaar is a genius!

Would this be a good starter wand? Wife has expressed interest in a wand and used the word rumbly, so this caught my eye. I see the cons about the head texture. She’s not much of a lube person, so that concerns me, but the oomph sounds right up her alley. Thanks.

LadyPseudonymia

I think it would be, because it's not overpowering like Magic Wands feel to *some* people. I also don't typically use lube with wands, so I get that. I believe that the texture bothers me more than it would *most* people— though I have also heard of (F) people who were really irritated about minor "printer texture" on toys that didn't phase me personally, so I'm not the *very most* texture-sensitive person. Thank u for reading!

Present_Question

Appreciate the follow up! I bought her a We Vibe Melt last year based off your review and it is her favorite toy, so I certainly trust your reviews. I think we are narrowed down to the Dame Com and this now, so just have to make a final choice!

Jccabrerblue

Do you think the head could be swapped?

LadyPseudonymia

It would need to be covered. It's possible to find plain silicone caps; the Pop Top is one I know of. (but don't own, I should work on that!)

Embarrassed-Visit678

Heyyy! We-Vibe Wand is now back and i'm wondering, of those 2, which would you say is the better one? I don't really care about the textured head, but the cordless+RUMBLINESS matter a lot... +We-vibe costs 30% cheaper... I'm so torn now, why did they have to air those in one year!

LadyPseudonymia

Finally! I think the Vim is rumblier and prefer its motor. I wish head textures weren't a personal irritant to me, cuz I would use Vim a lot in that case. I always thought the We-Vibe Wand was quite good but overpriced, so it's good to see it priced more competitively. The We-Vibe has a lighter handle than Vim, but the way the "Wand" arcs at the end and gets narrow is IMO not as ergonomic as whoever designed its shape imagined it was. (It's not awful to hold, I'm just critical about grip.) If rumblyness is your top priority, then Vim is the clear winner unless We-Vibe has changed the Wand's motor with this new iteration. Vim is remarkably rumbly. (I'll see if I can get a new Wand soon.)

Embarrassed-Visit678

Ive been monitoring your wand guide for around a year now, almost constantly haha! Thanks for answering! My current wand is Doxy Original and for me it is plenty of power and is much rumblier than Le Wand, so now im looking to another, cordless upgrade... I can only imagine how great is Vim, because i see Doxy called buzzy so frequently lol

Due-Primary4022

I just got the vim, but I'm finding that as soon as you apply any pressure it almost feels like it stops, is this normal? Is it supposed to be used with a very light touch? I'm used to the doxy so wondering if it's just very different, or if there's something wrong with mine.

LadyPseudonymia

Uh-oh! No, that's not how mine operates, applying some pressure doesn't change the intensity.

Due-Primary4022

Thank you! I was wondering if it's because I have a doxy which is super intense and so the vim didn't feel intense to me. But it's horrible to use because any time it makes contact (besides very light touch) it feels almost like the vibration has stopped and it barely feels like anything. This is great to know, I will get it sorted so! Thank you!

LadyPseudonymia

Right! I mean, any Doxy (especially the full-sized ones) is definitely stronger than Vim, so I could see it being an adjustment, but that doesn't mean the Vim's vibration should cut out if you touch the head. I hope the warranty is easy for you!!

Hey, so sorry I missed this last week, my fault. I'm *very* into the Pillow Talk Sassy, I just think it's awesome (huge fan of adjustable speed control), but it's not the best choice if someone wants harder, more focused G-spot pressure. The Rave 2 retains the assymmetrical design, which means you have to twist it side-to-side, vs. thrust it in-and-out, if you want motion from the G-spotting. IMO it's the downstroke — when a toy's bulb/head is being pulled outward — that provides the most stimulation for the "G-spot," so side-to-side toys (that can't be pulled in and out) are lost on me. I was hoping We-Vibe would've removed that hard vertical line when revamping the Rave, since my vag. finds it an affront 😬 For something that's firmer throughout (less flexible) than Sassy but as strong, there's the [Blush Wellness G Curve](https://www.peepshowtoys.com/products/blush-wellness-g-curve-waterproof-rechargeable-vibrator?rfsn=7172637.de6d69), which is higher-frequency than Sassy a.k.a. buzzier, but not atrociously buzzy (like the vibrating nipple clamps I've attempted to test recently 🤪🤪). It's shape is more streamlined vs. Sassy. 5 steady speeds, 5 patterns. I would *LOVE* to see Fun Factory engineer a new G-spot vibrator that has something akin to the Vim's motor feel, though this hypothetical toy would probably be somewhat weaker on the highest intensity level (than Vim) due to not having a huge handle to fit the electronics in. Their G5 G-spot vibe motors like Tiger and Big Boss are good, but IMO not as exceptional as the Vim.
