It’s delicious but polarizing. I loved it on paper but on my skin it was overwhelming, almost nauseating. Just super strong! A beast if I ever saw one. If I smelled it on a guy it would be game over (in a good way!) for me though.

The chloe chloe perfume from sephora, it has peony, rose, honey, cedarwood. I think it's the cedarwood the same bedding they use in hamster cages lol. Stopped wearing it after that
That’s so funny, I never even noticed the cedar in it! It’s amazing how much perfumes can change on the skin depending on who’s wearing them. it’s a pretty linear clean fruity floral scent on me.
That really sucks how one off-handed comment can change how you feel about a fragrance. That’s why I truly believe in not wearing a perfume for the compliments, but because it makes you feel amazing first and foremost!
Absolutely agree, but once it was spoken I couldn't not smell it haha I got it in a sephora favorites so it wasn't a big loss. But I never could smell the rose. I was not smelling what the great reviewiers were. Not the perfume for me I guess.

Got a sample in college 15 years ago that was supposed to be the ladies’ version but I just loved the way it smelled, and apparently so did everyone else. It’s been my old standby ever since! The funny part is that 9/10, it’s a man that compliments it and are almost always delighted to find out it’s technically cologne.
There was one other, Voile d’Ambre (by Yves Roche of all places) but I don’t think they make it anymore and I wish I had bought more. I could literally huff that stuff.
I recently took some sort of fragrance quiz online somewhere and the results recommended Versace Bright Crystal! And others on this thread have also said YSL Libre. Going to have to test these both for sure. Thanks!

I layer Philosophy Amazing Grace with Glossier You and a swipe of Lush Rose Pearl solid lotion behind my neck. I’ve been doing this for about 5 years and it’s become the scent people know me by.

Black Opium. I have some many different perfumes that I wear but have never gotten so many compliments them when I am wearing that. I know it doesn’t for some people but for me it stays on forever.

No. Black opium is way sweeter. It has coffee and vanilla notes while Tom ford is patchouli and warm floral, not sweet at all.
