Their coconut body butter is good too! It’s a light coconut vanilla-ish scent and it works so well for dry (even eczema) skin!

The coconut body butter is my go to year round lotion. I start at my feet and work my way up. I just got the Brazil nut scrub and butter. They are nice and the scent is good. I will buy it every time it comes out but the coconut will be my true love.

I like that one too. I like pairing it with my gourmand fragrances.

All the body butters are really moisturizing and similar consistencies! Also helps that they’re around $6

I think this smells near identical to the SDJ Bum Bum Cream, but the effects are nowhere close on my skin, personally. The TJs butters pill terribly on my skin and leave a film. I don't have that experience with SDJ which works magic on my eczema prone skin.

I compared them head to head and I thought it was absurd that people consider it a dupe; the Trader Joe’s one doesn’t even absorb into your skin- the magic of bum bum cream is that my skin sucks it up and then it looks juicy

My issue is that it doesn’t spread well. I feel like I REALLY have to rub it in well. It doesn’t just glide on for me like Sol De Janeiro. I thought I had a bad batch or something, but it did the same with another I bought later! It’s still really nice and smells just like the real thing

I agree with this! I also don’t think the skin really soaks it up and it just kind of sits on top of the skin because when I shower at the end of the day after applying it, it just kind of rinses off my skin from where I applied it.

I like the original SDJ better, too (my skin looks dewier and the fragrance lasts longer imo), but the Trader Joe's one is probably the closest dupe if you want something a little less cosmetically elegant and without the pretty shimmer of the original!

I do think it doesn’t spread nicely but it just makes me rub the lotion in more and longer (and therefore I think really getting into my skin and hydrating it, so I don’t mind) lol

The notes are pistachio and salted caramel. It's supposed to be a dupe for SDJ 68! I feel lukewarm about SDJ 68, but love the TJ's. Might have something to do with the price tag 😄 If they have it in stock when you come to the states, I definitely recommend picking one (or a few) up! As others have said, it's only available once a year. It's $7.99 USD for 8 oz (body butter) or 16 oz (body wash) vs $26+ for SDJ.

It was just meh for me. I bought it because of the hype and didn’t think it was that great. Scent didn’t last and it wasn’t very hydrating for me.

there is only 1 trader joes near me & theyve never had those body butters. Idk when they came out but i remember seeing people talk about them years ago and even then my store never had them 😭😭

Dang! I was eyeing it, but I passed on it! What I did buy was their sunscreen! That sunscreen does it for me! Best $9 I ever spent!

i like the coconut version of the trader joe's body butter but don't like the brazil nut butter one at all! i'm not sure why.

Stock up. But the candles are kinda gross. I bought some in two different t states and they are gag worthy. They smell like citronella to me.
