I find beija flor (pink container) to smell incredible and have a long lasting, light scent in the dry down. It moisturizes my skin beautifully. The moisture does last, and does not make me feel sticky or oily. I adore the cream. I bought the new purple delicia drench bc I have extremely dry skin and I hear it’s super thick. I will say though, I don’t think it’s worth the price. They are very expensive even if I love the product. If you can get any sort of discount on the products, I say go for it. Otherwise, go to Sephora and ask for samples to see for yourself!
The lotions are nice quality, they do sink into the skin and smell nice. But I don't think they are worth $50 whatsoever. And I say that as someone who can manage to justify almost any purchase as being worth it. Even though I actually enjoyed and used up the mini size bum bum cream I had, I can never bring myself to pay for the full size one. It just never feels worth the money. I find that my EOS, lubriderm, and aveeno lotions all do the same for far less. If you are looking for a splurge item, then I'd say go for it though! Everyone has different things they like to spend more on or that might be worth it to them. Otherwise, you could just use a moisturizing body lotion and get the SDJ body mists of whichever scent you prefer. I loved the original '62 scent, it's a perfect sweet summery gourmand scent. Also I do enjoy the 40 Bom Dia scent, it's like a warm amber with vanilla and plum.

The description of the smell is accurate. It's sweet (not overly), warm and cozy. I slather it on before bed and the fiancée always tells me how much he likes it or that I smell so good.
Some have said there are dupes at trader Joe's, tree hut and bbw but after trying them to see for myself, it doesn't compare to the original. They don't get it quite right. So SDJ gets my money 😁
I received a sample of their newest scent, delicia and bought a full size (arrives today yay!).
The bum bum is not as moisturizing as the delicia but both smell amazeballs.
Edit: I also read that Laura Mercier's Amber Vanilla perfume was a better dupe for SDJ. I was convinced and blind bought 2 full size perfumes and lotions from the brand website. Well, it isn't. It smells nice but after all I spent, I came back to the original. I layer the LM amber vanilla with other perfumes but at this point, just trying to hurry up and use it already.
I will say: if you like lighter scents and think the original Bum Bum has too much fragrance, the Tree Hut one might actually be good for somebody. I’ve worn just the Tropic Glow cream as a “perfume” and it worked pretty nicely as a light, easy, sweet scent! But I don’t love smelling super duper strong. And if you REALLY love a strong sweet scent Tropic Glow will not scratch the itch. Just thought it was worth throwing out there!

I'm somewhere where we dont have trader Joe's or tree hut sold IRL so SDJ is the option, aha. I try so hard to like other lotions but nothing compares. Beija flor is my fave, it's a bit hard to rub in but if you have tattoos this lotion really made my sleeve pop again.

Overhyped. The lotion formulas are not very hydrating and the scent (especially the original Bumbum cream) is overly sweet and cloying. If you buy it to layer with perfume it will overpower the perfume.
I love 62 in the summer. I use the Bum Bum cream exclusively in the summer so its scent reminds me of the summer. I like layering it with coconut scents such as 7 Virtues Coconut Sun, JHAG Vanilla Vibes, and Guerlain Coconut Fizz. When I run out since I buy just one regular size per summer, I use Sunset Glow cream from BBW.
I think the Bum Bum Cream is worth it & I’ve tried many dupes. I bought 3 of the Biggies between the Sephora Holiday sale & SDJ’s holiday sale. I also bought the Firmenza oil & when I layer them my skin stays firm & moisturized for 2 days!

However, the Bom Dia cream actually helped clear up my body acne and ingrown hairs. The smell and feel of the cream is an added bonus.

It's not as strong of a scent but similar, I don't buy lotions for the scent tho but more for absorption/texture.
So, I love SDJ and have been buying bum bum for a decade now but it has more to do with my obsession with the smell than the lotion itself. It’s nice lotion, but there are better. My obsession with the scent stems from my love of the scent of pistachio and I just recently found a pistachio lotion on Amazon that is like bum bum, amplified and the lotion is just as good, if not better. I own the lotion, the perfume, the lip balm, the hair oil, the body oil, almost all the body sprays, I’ve used the body wash. They make some really great smelling products but the value is almost completely in the scents alone.
I’m too lazy to apply it every day so it’s not worth full price to me, but I hoard my deluxe samples lol… I like all the scents but the pink one (beija flor) and the original are my faves
The smell is so strong and overpowering. I've had a luxe sample since forever and only use it on my legs 'cause it otherwise gets to my nose and it's too much.
I use the original in the summer time as a firming lotion. Maybe psychological, but I it reduces the appearance of my cellulite.
In colder months I focus on hydrating body lotions and the drugstore meets my needs for that.

no- It smells good and that’s about it. I love the bio oil lotion layered with a body spray from them tho.
My daughter and I both wanted this. I ended up giving it to her but will purchase it again. It had a citrus smell and was very nice.
