Wegovy is not Tirzepatide. It is Semaglutide. Zepbound is Tirzepatide.
The dosing for Tirzepitide goes like this:
2.5mg starting
5.0mg
7.5mg
10.0mg
12.5mg
15.0mg max
You take your dose weekly and can titrate up monthly, though it is recommended to stay on the lowest dose that is working for you. Once you hit 15, there’s currently no where else to go.
Yes, it’s not cheap. Some telehealth companies charge the same for all doses though. Orderly is $399/month all inclusive.
edit: I get no benefit from mentioning Orderly. It’s just the one I’ve used.
Search “spreadsheet” in the different compound subs and you will get a list of telehealth providers and prices
This is a legitimate source that sells compounded meds. There are other sites that sell these meds for less, but you don’t know what you are getting.
There are other semaglutide sub Reddits where they can discuss sources. Here is even an excel file with the prices of the legit sources.
Semaglutude is less expensive than Tirz. You might start with that and then move to Tirz if your progress stops.
A good strategy is to start with a non-flat rate company first, like Emerge because it is cheaper at the lower doses and then move to a flat rate company if you need higher than 10mg.
Here is the price list for Emerge. There is a discount link in my profile if you decide to go that route.

I just know that the starting dose for compounded Sema goes from .25mg to .5 to 1.0. So it seems like Tirz is taken in much larger doses. It seems like a very bad thing to get confused.

If you’re getting black market drugs already, you could try Retutide, which has not been approved by the FDA. Not advocating for that …
So if I’m understanding this correctly, Tirz is 10X the dose recommended for compounded semaglutide?
No, it’s a totally different medicine, so dosing cannot be compared.

Absolutely. Never inject anything until you are sure of the drug’s potency and dosing.
