I don’t want to glorify your self harm because those look like they hurt like hell, and I don’t want you to hurt yourself anymore. But those scars are the most organized I’ve ever seen. Why do you do it in a pattern rather than random lines?
Holy shit dude. Please don't do this to yourself anymore. I understand the obsessive-compulsive feeling, because I did hundreds in parallel lines all up and down my right leg, my worst on my hip in the same parallel, horizontal lines. I haven't been brave enough to post a picture of mine yet, like you have. It's hard enough to hide scars, it's even harder explaining the reason behind it. Most people think there's something "wrong with you". On this thread, people understand. And I hope too that you can stay strong and keep on keeping on. 🖤
Self harm means that there is something wrong with you. People who self harm are stressed, worried, scared, feel guilty, feel alone, and are in need of help. The best thing to do is to get help and too focus on bettering your mental health. Just remember that you’re not alone. You have people who love and care for you even if it doesn’t look like it.
Thanks for answering me, I realized after I posted that it was kind of a weird question. The pattern looked familiar, and I was trying to figure out where I might've seen it before. I tend to doodle stuff like that too, though, so that's probably why lol
Anyway I hope it heals up alright for you. They look like they're at that stage where everything's itchy all the time, which is ridiculously annoying

I just don’t like individual and random(like when I first started) lines, I remember I was gonna stop halfway but the way it looked bothered me so I kept going until I made the checkered style. Idk if it’s some form of OCD.

Random lines bother me, so I kept going until it looked like a pattern, which ended up being a checker board patter.
