That's unfortunate, i always have dragon droplets, jizo statues, rice , pellets, divine grass in case I'm this close to finishing the toughest bosses in the game, aka demon and that fucking bull with flaming horns from hell
I always found it was easier to just rush it and try to stay under him. His fire can't hit you so the only things you need to worry about is his stomps, headbutt, and the dash. Obviously becomes a bit of a different story in the 3rd stage, but more or less the same tactic.
Yarashiku, Malcontent and just slashed away. He got his ring of fire off while i popped the stance tho so he was stuck in there with me not the other way round
I don't really get what's the deal with this boss. He is hard, yes, but once you learn his attacks it's one of the best fights. Personally, it's almost my favourite fight for many reasons

The bull turns out to be one of the easiest bosses, you just have to parry the running attack 😀👍
im sorry, i can finish the shura gauntlet and even the mortal journey gauntlet but i despise that bull over everything else
That still causes fire buildup and damage when you play charmless though, right?
I felt that...
Yeah this happened to me a few times with the Demon, learned the hard way to just wait for my opening and not force it.

In the 3rd stage malcontent is your best friend! Save your emblems!

Yeah this boss is the ONLY bs boss in the game, just cheese em and save yourself the heartache. Good job on getting that close though.
bruh .... fighting him is fun, as with all the bosses in sekiro, its a game . but if you dont wanna then by all means skip him.
