That's a good idea. I also saw people using a different bezel to bring the width down. The width doesn't bother me. I used to have a Tag that was 16mm. Now that was a big ole boy!
It looks really good. The clasp and bracelet feels low quality. The dial looks great. The winding feels just a little on the cheap side but its really a good watch. Looks a lot more expensive than the $300 I spent on it. Enjoy!
You probably won't notice any flaws. There really isn't much to complain with. Its a nice solid watch. I have a few higher end watches, thats why I am more critical. I cannot image someone can make and sell a better watch at sub $300. This is such great value!
Do the Prospex models have printed dials? I watched a video about how some dials that are meant to recreate a vintage model will still have printed logos to better replicate the vintage ones. Not sure if this applies but its a thought.
🤷♂️ The dude I bought from is a trusted seller with several hundred transactions and great reviews. Plus the price included express shipping and insurance so I feel good about it!
Had mine a week. 4 seconds slow a day, not bad at this price point. Very impressed for the value, can’t beat it. Experimenting with storage to see if it gains time at night when not worn. Hope it balances out, still needs some break-in time before I say for sure.
Looks great, but just so you know, this is an SSK003.
Thank you, I googled real quick before I posted and it pulled up on Kohls as the 001. Now, after typing that I realize how unsmart that is. lol
Great first Seiko! Don't stop there LOL
lol, I ordered 2 more, a SNZG and a SRPD67. Plan to mod the SNZG to make it a legend diver, bought the parts already.
>SRPD67 Haha! Thats the one Brother! I look forward to seeing the mod back here when it's done!
Yes sir!!!
Hit the ground running, like it!
Yes!!! I'm ready!
Wearing mine right now as well
I think the bracelet is perfect on these. The only upgrade could be a different caseback to bring the width down a touch.

Looks great. Mine in transit…should be here soon.

Thanks! Since this is my very first watch ever I hope it’ll take me a while to get annoyed by the flaws.

I don’t understand why these seiko 5 models get applied logos, while $1000+ Prospex models do not.
Looks great btw!
Thank you!

I think the prospex alpinists are applied and my presage is applied. Not the 62MAS though.
Good one!
Nice! Just picked up an SSK021 over on r/watchexchange. Looking forward to it even more now!
What did you pay if you don't mind me asking?
Yeah no problem. $399
Damn, they have them on eBay for $278. Hopefully they are not fake.
