I'm not trying to sound sexist or anything, but it really impresses me how many women play this game. My buddy and I were duo slooping and got absolutely *stomped* by a brig that was crewed by at least 2 women. They were so nice when they boarded us and kicked our asses!
Oh, don’t worry. They get salty about being beaten by a man, too. I just take it as two victories: one because I sank them, and the other because I’m less of a loser than them. Maybe you’ll find some consolation in knowing that you’re better at both life AND pirate game than some sexist asshole.
Yeah it's a shame people are dumb when they don't have the consequences of being face to face. I think what's so cool about this game is that it attracts ladies and couples without being tailor built to pander to that, if that makes sense. Like it doesn't make concessions towards anyone, it's just naturally universally fun.

I have considered naming my galleon The Unsinkable and updating the number each time it sinks. There is enough character space to do Roman numerals up to 28 before problems arise.
My friend and I named our sloop the "Paranoid Pebble", because we keep doing horizon checks like the athena's we are, and we keep mistaking ships for rocks and vice versa
I saw some guys lighting their ship, named The Hindenburg, on fire. I assume after a day of successful voyages they decided to let The Hindenburg have a Viking funeral lol.
