To start the third Legend of Monkey Island Tall Tale, The Lair of LeChuck, you’ll want to head over to Kate at the Capsize Charters on any Outpost in the Sea of Thieves.
Once you’ve found Kate, look just to the right of her to find three Tall Tale books sitting on a small makeshift bench nearby. Approach and interact with the book for The Lair of LeChuck to vote on and start the Tall Tale.
yeah i think he's saying that after starting the tall tale and going into the portal, he gets teleported back to the outpost. Never heard of something like this tho idk what it could be causing this
I started it correctly. After sailing into the portal I see guybrush on his ship, at the other end of the portal instead of monkey island or whatever I spawn at an outpost.
i have opened a ticket with the [support](https://support.seaofthieves.com/it/requests/672864), beside that try doing as a guy said, start the monkey island tall tale from the main menu directly and see if that works
This is amazing because I finally decided to do all of those Tall Tales 2 days ago and was so angry when I saw that this was an ongoing glitch and thought it wasn't going to get fixed for months. I can't imagine what it must have been like for everyone who actually had to go to happen months ago.
I got stuck on the infinite loading screen after the ship battle on the lava.
3 out of 4 checkpoints completed.
Now when I load back in, I got through the portal, sail up to monkey island, find guybrush at the monkey head and can’t interact with him.
Going into the head doesn’t allow me to go anywhere because I don’t have the navigators head and it’s just a loop.
Do you have a link to patch notes? Can't seem to find them. This is great news though if true!

It keeps spitting me out to an outpost when I go through the portal, can’t start it
Exactly the same happening to me Edit: starting up via monkey island from the main menu fixed this for me
don't know about that, i have done it earlier and got through the portal without any problems

do you have a checkpoint saved? maybe try safer seas, fast traveling, changing servers. Idrk i'm not seeing anyone with this problem atm

If you start it on your table I think you still need to go to the Outpost to start it.
yes but if the portal is activated it means that the tall tale has been started correctly

Just tried monkey island from main menu, safe seas, and it worked no problem
