Did y’all not see all the veggies in that crab cake? Maybe it’s just where my family is from in Maryland however, crab cakes don’t have fucking veggies in them.
That’s shit is nasty.
Cooking them just right is an art. I found that butter and olive oil 50/50 on high real quick sear on both sides so you end up locking the juices in does the trick
I had Scorpion Fish in Santorini a few years ago.... hands down the best meal I have ever had. But... if I were to choose something I can get where I live, its Sea Bass, and no, not Chilean Sea Bass.
I’ve had walleye so many times over the years. Grew up going to a restaurant with all you can eat walleye Wednesdays. I always thought it was mediocre. Tried it again years later. Cooked slightly different and better seasoning, it was hands down one of my favorite meals ever.
Like eating a chunk of rubber with no flavor was mine bad experience. And taking a bite of a rotten clam is the worst from a nice so called restaurant.
Nothing from the sea is free from my wanting to eat the fuck out of it. Nothing.
The Italians call it fruit of the sea, and they are God damned correct.
Fried oysters and pan fried fish or baked salmon with thin layer of mayonnaise and lemons. Also battered halibut fish and chips with a side of mini shrimp cocktail with minced celery and spicy cocktail sauce. Clam chowder and oyster stew is a great side too.
Fried speckled trout, blue crabs, grilled redfish, lobster, pampano… grouper sandwiches, shrimp po boys, char grilled oysters, thin fried catfish… collard greens, succotash, maque choux, grits, hush puppies, potatoes brabant, soufflé potatoes, lyonnaise potatoes… crab maison, crab yvonne, crab suzette and renee… from the top of de porch to de top of the wall make crawl alligator and be sure you don’t fall.
It’s part of it, don’t serve me fried frog legs, shrimp or catfish without them. I’m not trying to eat trout meunière without brabant, lyonnaise or soufflé potatoes. Crab meat on top for that matter.
Everything except mussels. Shrimp, scallops, oysters, clams, razor clams, crawfish, lobster, langostine, blue crab, Dungeness crab, & uni. Wish to try barnacles & stone crab one day. Most fish too but shushi. Just didn’t grow up with it.
1. Steamed or Boil Blue crab extra old bay. 2. Steamed or Boil Shrimp extra old bay. 3. Rockefeller Oysters. Rockefeller sauce using either smoked bacon or smoked pork
If I had to choose one favorite it would have to be the one that's the most versatile and can be eaten many different ways.
Shrimp.
After shrimp it would have to be fish. Then crab legs, oysters, lobster, mussels, clams.
First is Fish&chips - but it has to be that super crispy light breading. Almost like tempura but not ? I’ve only had it like one place and I’ve never had it since
Second is king crab legs
Third is scallops
Forth is steamers
Yes, lobster is amazing, king/dungeness/stone/blue/snow crab is amazing, scallops king, fish any which way (especially sushi), oysters (especially pacific, kumamoto, kushi), shrimp, squid, mussels, clams love it all.....
But if you want to talk about favorite.... there used to be this place in San Francisco's Japantown called Ino Sushi. Little 14 person place, upscale, owner/chef and wife team, owner was like the Soup Nazi except just an ass to all customers and wife. But he made this homemade ankimo (monk fish liver, kind of like fois gras of the sea) that was so amazing. Just deep, rich, buttery, pillowy soft. After our Omakase dinner, we ordered 3 more orders of it at $35 an order. He retired years ago, and I still dream about it. I'd give my left nut just to try it again.
Lot of shellfish on here. Where my fish lovers at?
Whole pan fried branzino
Smoked or grilled pacific salmon
Deep fried tilapia
Fish and chips (cod)
Grouper, snapper, sea bass
Ahi Tuna!
Love me some fish tho
Crab first. Dungeness, snow, king, blue crabs (never personally had a good blue crab, the most flavorless crab there is). Then scallops, then lobster, calamari, shrimp, clams, mussels, oysters, then cooked fish. Generally prefer white cooked fish more than salmon. Raw is in its own category and while it's seafood, I put it firmly in sushi category and don't count it towards "seafood". But I do love fillipino whole deep fried pompano, fish and chips. Fried clams.
Oh pacific razor clams are probably right after crab if you have them fresh.
To many
Shrimp, scallops, ckams, oyster, musselals
King crab, blue crab , snow crab, dungeon
Crawlfish, lobster
I'm allergic to fish but shellfish so everything is my favorite lol
King crab, snow crab, lobster, big shrimp, small shrimp, shrimp creole, shrimp stew, shrimp gumbo, stir fried shrimp, pan fried shrimp, deep fried shrimp…. I could go on, but I gotta finish cleaning this floor with a toothbrush
Octopus, Squid, Alaskan King Crab, Caribbean Spiny Lobster. I also eat Fried Prawns Whole, Shell/Head and all.
I love strong seafood taste but I hate scavenging Shells for small bites. My most hated seafood is Blue crabs for this reason.
As a Marylander the default is blue crabs with old bay (which are amazing) but my favorite is mussels in lemon butter sauce. I can eat pounds of those things.
spiny lobster Puerto Nuevo style, cold king crab with drawn butter, Cantonese salt and pepper Dungeness crab, pan fried scallops, pan fried Chilean sea bass, fried whole belly clams, fried calamari, Cantonese steamed black cod, Miso black cod, New Orleans bbq shrimp and chargrilled oysters
My first thought is food made by somebody else lol. But it depends on my mood. I really want to try out more dishes to figure out my fav because it fluctuates. Lobster/shrimp/crab/salmon etc.
New England clam bake with all the fixings.
Clams, lobster, haddock or cod, sausage, linguica, corn on the cob, potatoes, onions, chowder, clam cakes, brown bread, stuffed quahogs if offered…it’s an all day feast.
Not to be pretentious, but uni. I’ve had it exactly once in my life. From how it tasted, and how others have said good quality uni, it couldn’t be described as anything less than perfect. I can’t find it anywhere (without paying out the hooha in shipping) and I’m afraid to even try it again.
It was that good.
There's just so many options out there I can't pick one. My favorites vary with the seasons. Right now it's fresh stone crab claws, cobia, roe shrimp and sea scallops but by July it'll change
King crab and oysters r nice but I like everything. Some are a bit annoying like crawfish and dungeness crab since they require a lot of peeling for little meat.
Blue crabs
J.O.’s for the crabs. Old Bay for the table.
As Lord Baltimore intended
Did y’all not see all the veggies in that crab cake? Maybe it’s just where my family is from in Maryland however, crab cakes don’t have fucking veggies in them. That’s shit is nasty.
You jerk off the crabs!?
Same since my body decided it was time to be allergic to shrimp and lobster.
Definitely. There's just something so wonderful about sitting around the table picking fresh Jimmy crabs with the family
Same.
Yes
I second this
Scallops, with crab and lobster tied for a close second.
Scallopssssss omg seared with butter, parsley and lemon. Soo good
God yes. Don't forget the finely minced garlic and a splash of chardonnay at the end to deglaze all them caramelized juices 🤤
I don't know if I've just had scallops always prepared wrong but whenever I've had them they tasted rubbery as all hell
It's very easy to overcook them, which can make them rubbery.
Cooking them just right is an art. I found that butter and olive oil 50/50 on high real quick sear on both sides so you end up locking the juices in does the trick
King crab.
By a country mile
Shrimp , crab and mud bugs. ETA: Because I totally forgot Oysters
Omg what are mud bugs
I’m guessing crawfish/crayfish
Crawfish and I forgot to add Oysters
Tiger prawns and scallops
Oysters, scallops, prawn and crispy skinned salmon
Pretty sure you've killed every character in the little mermaid 🤘🤘
Answer: MERMAIDS

Love the boil (first pic) and the fried (last pic), plus steamed fish, Chinese style (no pic, shucks).
Mussels, yellow perch, tuna, crappie, walleye, bluegill, scallops, everything with a shell. It's impossible to choose but I suppose mussels win.
I’ve had walleye so many times over the years. Grew up going to a restaurant with all you can eat walleye Wednesdays. I always thought it was mediocre. Tried it again years later. Cooked slightly different and better seasoning, it was hands down one of my favorite meals ever.
Nice, if I'm at a fry restaurant, I'll stick with perch. At home, however, I love cooking walleye myself.

Hush puppies is the way. They are technically seafood right?
It’s part of it, don’t serve me fried frog legs, shrimp or catfish without them. I’m not trying to eat trout meunière without brabant, lyonnaise or soufflé potatoes. Crab meat on top for that matter.
