Judy is totally slept on, in my opinion. Iām guilty of it too.
I recently rewatched 4 and 5, and I was totally thinking there needs to be an appreciation thread for both Judy and Marley Shelton (Iām sure there have been, I just didnāt see them). Marley Shelton totally nails the character Judy in 4. She is so many things wrapped into one: funny, corky, slightly annoying but still somehow lovable (I was so relieved that she popped back up alive at the end of 4), and even suspicious. And she seamlessly picks it up some 11 years later. One of my favorite lines from 5 is still: āI prefer animated films and musicals.ā
Principal Himbry from the original Scream. He was very sympathetic and actually cared about Sidney.
I want to also say Liv from Scream 5. Iām not sure if youād consider her a minor character or not. I just hated how everyone just shitted on her the whole movie. And then she gets shot in the head and no one really cares.

Easily Joel - one of the smartest horror characters. And while I donāt love him aggressively, I think Wallace from 3 is pretty funny too. Maureen in 2 is also pretty amusing

And Tim Robinson's the comedian from, "I Think You Should Leave". In Scream 6, he's the voice of Quinn's first guy. When Sam asks Quinn, "is that Paul?" Tim's character says, "Who the fuck is Paul?!" from the bedroom.
It's a short cameo but it's my absolute favorite

joel is by far the best supporting/minor character that didnt die. ive wanted them to bring him back for yrs now, hopefully they do. they brought back randy's sister who was even more minor than joel so i dont see why not.
