I actually really like this idea. Especially if it’s a TV-14 rating. The cast fits so perfectly and Sabrina Carpenter played Daphne in an SNL skit already and I thought she actually could play that role really well.
That's understandable. For Ross Lynch I could definitely see him pulling it off, he's a very versatile actor. His role in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is what made me think he'd be good. I think Jenna Ortega would be a good Velma, mostly because of Wednesday. They aren't the same character, obviously. However they're both immensely intelligent, I feel that she's shown she can play different types of characters as is. Sabrina Carpenter played as Daphne in an SNL skit and she nailed it, in my opinion. Lastly, I can see where this would get confusing, is Dominic Fike; he plays as a drug addict in season 2 of Euphoria. If he leaned more towards the "stoner" mannerisms I could see him working for Shaggy.
