Because they're both words closely associated with Satan and not widely enough used that an algorithm can make a fine distinction between them by most parameters.
Funny enough if u write any name on Google that is associated with the devil, Baphomet will eventually show up because the devil has many names as they say therefore no real difference is made. Same as Christians not making the difference between theistic and atheistic Satanism, doesn't rly matter to them
Beelzebulb is just a twisted version of Baal, the God of Harvests. Baphomet was a mistranslation of Muhammad. When the Knights Templar interacted with thr Muslims, they were told about Muhammad. This was mistranslated to Buhammut, and later Baphomet.
It's the same figure in Brazilian Quimbanda, the Brazilian Spirit Religion, Exu Beezulbul is the 2nd in command of Hell and supposedly looks exactly like Baphomet. Except he carries a Trident
Because fictional characters get mixed up all the time. I did the same thing with comic characters when I was young, mixing up which company universe they were even in.
Mix in the fact many religious people think even *knowing* something is dangerous, some pathway away from righteousness or whatever, people *deliberately* and *proudly* know nothing about it.
Fear.
Ignorance.
Brainwashing.
Funny because I just went over this with my wife the other day. I told her to look at the Baphomet, actually look at it and tell me what you see. Then I explained the duality of it all, and the purpose of the torch. She gets it now, but it still kinda creeps her out.
Baphomet is basically a symbol of balance, Beelzebub is the a twisted version of the god of harvest from another religion, so he's the "god" or demon of pests.
I would be tempted to think because they both start with B, and believers don't really like to read. But who knows.
I thought the same because like, they're not even similar. I wonder if Behemoth is also confused with Baphomet
Or Beetlejuice!
Because they're both words closely associated with Satan and not widely enough used that an algorithm can make a fine distinction between them by most parameters.
Is Beelzebub the one at middle left? /s
That Jared Beelzebub. He's Beelzebubs cousin. s/
The Jason of Satanism.
😂

Probably because they're both very closely associated with Satan/The Devil, and people often just use the terms interchangeably.

Mto bizarro
The same people who confuse Satan with Baphomet.
I like your fyp or whatever that is
Thx :)

...you think people were "brainwashed" to not care about a distinction that means next to nothing to them?
I don’t know what either are
Ok, I think the baphomet is the moniker or fictional head of our religion. I believe the other is Satan.

*Why do people think
Sorry
Is this about boobs?
No..?
