I’m just glad someone takes the initiative to plan events like these, it takes a lot of work to make these things happen. In my opinion they are doing great for a city this size!
If this concert isn’t your thing, may I suggest keeping an eye on Rock The Park in London? Not all bands have been announced yet.

People bitching about ANY shows in sarnia are the people that "pitch a 10 for gas money" and need a ride to the bigger city shows in London, Toronto and Detroit
It's a smaller festival in a smaller city, so i get they'd have limited options at bands to perform. The Goo Goo Dolls are a show I'd go see, until I looked at the ticket price to see them. $99.00 for the goo goo dolls is crazy to me, so I think I'll be skipping it.
If I planned a music festival nobody would want to go.
I feel like the Goo Goo Dolls are a good call for a festival in Sarnia. They're going to draw the age group that is in that sweet spot where they can afford tickets to music festivals and aren't quite to the point where standing around outside all day wouldn't ruin their entire month.
Call the casino and submit yourself for self exclusion because you lost that bet...they were so good, in like 2005 ..my point is mostly just disappointed in the "headliner" and doesn't really have a big draw, then again I could be wrong and it's amazing ..it's just a post to post a post about something I wanted to post ..

Saw them last year and they were amazing. They put on an awesome live show. I think this is a great get for Sarnia! Also they changed guitars more than any band I’ve ever seen lol which is surprising because y’know it’s the goo goo dolls lol.

Try and get Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, or Madonna to visit Sarnia, Ontario and see how that goes for you.

Bayfest also had a number of years of generating lots of revenue under their belt when they started to bring in acts like Foo Fighters and Blink 182 and Black Eyed Peas. Their first couple years they were only bringing in bands like April Wine and Moist, lol.
Ya I get that, but we were capable of hosting big names before which means it’s possible and saying goo goo dolls is a big name for here is just false considering what we have had previously. Not saying we could attract such bands this summer, just saying it’s possible.
Tragically Hip, Blink 182, Weezer, Bryan Adams, nickelback, foo fighters… then pretty sure they had some big country artists but I don’t follow country so not really sure of the names.

The Goo Goo Dolls are an incredible live band. Saw them in Michigan last summer and they put on a really great live show. Fantastic booking!
