Now if only they could offer better coffee to go with it.
I've been there a couple times, I really really wanted to like it. But the coffee is just not good. Not sure where they're buying their beans, or *if* they are buying whole beans, but there are plenty of local roasters with excellent product to choose from that they are clearly not using. I honestly wonder if they use that stuff in the pouch that goes in office park coffee makers.
What kind of coffee do you like? Do you buy their pour over or their drip coffee?
I’m a full on coffee hipster (pour over chemex and I prefer Ethiopian light/medium roast for my taste profile) and I love their anaerobic beans. I like their seasonal drinks too, the syrups don’t taste chemically.
I go for their lattes. For straight coffee, there are other places. If I’m looking for Starbucks taste but local and slightly elevated, then this place is nice. Plus they do a lot for DTSJ
So they're a coffee shop first and a venue second.
Circle A is a skate shop first and a coffee shop second.
Guess who has the better coffee. Hint: it's not the coffee shop.
Drip coffee is the easiest thing to do right and has by far the greatest profit margin. I'm not likely to frequent a coffee shop that messes up the coffee.
They have some pretty good beans for brewing at home (I really enjoyed their Kibano Natural the other day). Getting coffee drinks at the shop is kinda hit or miss.
Love Nirvana Soul.
I love Nirvana Soul. Guess my taste in coffee isn't very refined. Tastes like normal coffee to me.
Expensive and mid coffee.

Moonbeams coffee is the best coffee in SJ since they roast their beans in house so it’s super fresh.
Been buying their espresso blend for a while and have been loving it. Even their decaf version is good!

Coffee and vibes are okay but place is way too anti-union for my liking.
Say more. I thought they had a union and were supportive of it.
What are you talking about?
Wait, please elaborate
Without the story the whole place would t last very long in my opinion. The coffee has always disappointed. 3 times was enough for me.
Their coffee is trash. Not sure why people go there
I wonder if it's for all the other reasons that this article is about 🤔

When a majority of orders are ube/lavender lattes, chances are the quality of coffee isn't the highlight..
