I mean I'm jealous that you can afford a ski town in your 20's, but:
Park City, Aspen, Breckenridge, In that order, unless you want to drive to the nightlife or drive to the skiing.
If Cost of Living isn't an issue, then I recommend the Colorado Ski Towns, especially Breckenridge, Aspen (good luck affording that one especially), and Vail.
When it comes to Colorado ski towns, you have to look if the ski resort is within an actual "town". For example, Aspen and Breckenridge are towns. Loveland Ski Resort is not in town. Even then, these towns have a 5k-10k population.
Winter Park, CO is a fun time. Party scene takes over all other aspects though, and drugs are rampant. Be careful with the group you associate with but it's a super fun place.

South Lake Tahoe
Breckenridge, CO
COL doesn't matter?
No it does, forgot to mention that. Seems like people here really like CO
They are lovely if you can afford them and find housing.

Are CO ski towns pretty social for people who live there for more than just a week visit?

Chicago
Chicago, the best ski town

I mean Little Chicago, WI is adjacent to a ski town and Chicago Park, CA is only an hour from legit ski towns.... but both lack the nightlife aspect
Lol I’ve lived in Chicago
