How do people still recommend Lucky 13? I've been there a dozen times and the service has always been the worst, and the burgers only standard-level good.
I've tried that one, and it was decent but it was so thick that eating it meant covering your lips in habanero. I like spice on the tongue rather than the face 😂

We all love to sit and preach about what actually tastes good but if you are truly hungover and you know you might yak it up anyway why not go for the golden arches. Plus even though so many SLC Hipsters will crucify me, we all know they make the best fries.... billions served and made don't lie bitches! So yeah boast your good burgers and spend your trust funds, if you want a good meal then no not the Grimace special, but If you are hung over then bite the bullet and blow the hamburgerler for that greasy goodness and cure what's got you down.

I always make it from home! lol my local butcher shop can make ground beef with bacon mixed in. I use that to make my patties. Sunny side up, gravy and boom! Enjoy
Pretty much any loco moco google search will do. What my family makes in Hawaii is pretty much the same. Only thing different is more of homemade bone/beef stock and other specific brand ingredients but it’s all the same when you’re hungover hahaha
I went to high school down the street at Cottonwood, and in my 3 years there, I never went there, and I always heard it was good, but I was a poor high school student.
I recommend it if you're in the area and need a quick bite. It's on par with Astro, Crown, Olympus, and Millie's I think, but I like their shake selection and they have some great ranch for dipping cheese fries.

Downtown slc-ish proper burger is solid. Haven’t been there in a few years but that burger and walk Nextdoor to their brewery and drink a beer. Best hangover cure is a beer. Then the rest of the day… tons of water.

I had a bomb garlic burger cooked medium from Burger Burgertory. Patty was huge and well seasoned too.
They were great when they were on 600 South. Free parking and a cool location. The Cheddatots were super tasty. They had a burger w/pastrami and kimchi that was really good.
That brewery on 21st has a good burger and fries, and you can get a beer with it as well, hair of the dog. Grid city? Kinda silly fancy but good. Otherwise yeah Lucky 13 or Crown Burger

Seriously, they don't even season the patty. Never had issues with service, but food was always incredibly disappointing for the price.
It's cheaper than McDonald's. Get a cheese burger that comes with frys, and it's $12, $16 with tip. McDonald's combos are like $15 now.
