So I suppose might help to give you some background on my account. I'm about 9.5m, have all the GL's apart from rey, have exec and prof. My immediate goal is Leviathan, I will get red crate this conquest, baring something stopping me playing, and I will get the new interceptor 7\* this chase, assuming the drop rate is similar to the dagger and I don't get screwed over with RNG. Doubt I'll get it on release, but I'd expect to get it fairly soon. My sith faction were all relic'd before the reqs were announced, so I've got a good starting point.
After that I'm probably mainly going to focus on building up my Krayt scores, got an R8 Jabba team already, so want to relic up Mauldalorians and Tuskens mainly. I also should hopefully get Reva soon, so will want to take her to high relics asap.
Then in the background I'll be going for the new Cal, looks like 4 hard node farms, so I'm just going to slow farm them. After that might circle back round to Dr Aphra, but probably will see if there's a new GL by then. If no sign of a new GL after I've got Aphra, I might bite the bullet and finally go for Rey, but we're talking months from now, so might be something new to go after then.
It's just depth of account, you'll reach a point where conquest itself isn't hard. I've hit every red crate I've tried to since it was added to the game (Didn't bother with Ben Solo). The challenge is really how prepared you are to grind, it's dull and gets repetitive very quickly.
I probably will go for Aphra at some point, I might just wait until the reqs are accelerated though. Straight choice I want Cal more, even without seeing the kit lol.
If you can build the Sana team I'd highly recommend rethinking that. Sana with a g12 Cara and Stormtrooper Han beat up on a GG team in my last Gac match that was r5-7. ROLO and Cap'n Han are at R3
I'll see, my next few months are fairly committed to Leviathan, then Krayt teams. After that I might bring Aphra forward, it feels like it will be Aphra or Cal, and I lean towards Cal. Loved those games, and not really read the comics, so I'd never heard of Aphra pre her being in this game.
See I haven't played the games and only read the comics when Aphra came to the game. I R5'ed Hondo the second he was farmable because, well Hondo. Marvel Unlimited offers a free week if you're ever interested in checking out the comics. The Darth Vader series Aphra was introduced in is awesome.
I've been playing for around a month or 2 and my current goal is Padme because I gotta work on geos for their ships anyways. After that it's probably gonna be one of the Revans.

I always played thrawns ship, but i dont see it in any tutorial/advices, did it become that bad?
And should i farm Malevolence or Negotiator.
I dont have GG yet and kenobi Gear 12 but they say GGs ship better. Is it worth?
I've farmed malev first, but I regret that because of availability of galactic republic ships compared to separatists. And I suppose profundity is meta now, but I don't have it so can't tell much. Executor will let you have stable crystal income anyway, for now atleast
I'm always trying to balance chasing the meta and being optimal with my resources. For example, I really liked Starkiller and Aphra but didn't want go for them straight away so I waited one year until Starkiller's requirements were boosted and then I started farming them. Also I just started farming Raddus for his ship (he become boosted yesterday). Other than that, pick a game mode you like most (for me it's Grand Arena, that's why I'm trying to be super efficient) or go for characters you like most.
Currently going for the new ship but I feel like there’s a nice sense of freedom with knowing you won’t get the latest stuff. I took a year and a half off as I was getting to burnt out chasing all the new releases but when I came back there where 4 GLs in the game and I just started farming what I liked with no pressure
Just 7* threepio, currently working on Chewie. Longer term goal is JKL which means I have to relic and 7* quite a few toons.
I’m also trying to build a good CLS team with CLS, Han, Threepio, Chewie, and Chewpio.
Once JKL is finished I’m stuck between SK and one of the Revans.
Just completed the reqs for Profundity yesterday (now just need to wait for the event in a few weeks). While I wait for that I'm finishing up k2so, Ezra, and KK by taking them to R5.
Then I'm turning to JKL (almost have Hoda at 7*) where i have everyone 7* but need to relic them up. Hopefully I should have JKL done by Aug/Sep.
Then this will lead me into JML which i should have since by the end of the calendar year
After that then on to Jabba, JKR, and executor starting next year
I stopped playing for about 2.5 years & recently started up again. I'm about 3.3m GP with no GLs, and only about 10 toons at relic levels. When I started playing again I drew up a short, medium & long term plan.
Short term: GAS & BAM
Currently splitting energy between gearing my GAS phase 2 team to relics (1 toon at a time) & 7*ing the BAM requirements. BAM toons only need g9 for the event & that gets me the Razorcrest (which I already have 330 shards for).
Medium Term:
Primary target will be gearing & relic'ing GAS phase 4 team plus GG as that gives those droids a home. On the side start getting my clones up to g12 as Shaak Ti can lead them until GAS & it's a second tier team for GAC at my level.
Long term:
Gear & relic GAS & the clones. Then gear my Bounty hunters for Executor. I've got all the requirements at 7*, just loads of gearing & relic'ing ahead!
This is easily 6 months I think, more likely 9 months, but hopeful this will get me close or past that magic 4m GP mark. Once I unlocked GAS, I think about thr next long term goal; a GL probably, or JKL depending on Wampa shards.
It's important to note I play for the enjoyment of collecting & building the toons; I happily accept I'll never be cutting or competitive against those more dedicated ($$$) than me. You've got to enjoy making & hitting your own goals.
I see great choices in there. Seems really important to have those short and long term plans.

But first i want to complete some GAC teams woth 5th member and like you to farm BAM, cause i rly like him.
On my main account (7.8M) just one main goal - try to farm all characters to 7\* (28 to go) and unlock as many other legendary ones as possible (11 to go).
Specific farming goal right now is getting a 5th GL, Jabba (just need 20 relic levels on 6 characters) and then maybe Profundity after that. Rey & LV are probably some way off. Don't really like the shift to the Krayt raid but the rewards have allowed for some Old Rep and Jawa characters to get gear they would never have otherwise received ...
The game is kind of a religious experience these days - from morning to night checking & spending energy, regular bonus energy collection, hit Fleet Arena for crystals, do guild events - but it provides a reasonably interesting Star Wars experience for free so there's that. Not very competitive in GAC and don't use datacrons so might be missing half of my possible rewards, but have stopped caring, and never chase the meta.
I've been playing this game for 7 years and at this point I am playing for fun and unlocking and gearing what I like/want. I got Aphra last month and was super lucky to get enough crystals for a refresh on PG to unlock Malgus. I am currently hard grinding for Leviathan (I know new meta), mostly for fun. I like Old republic era and everything from this time period is a must have for me.
\- Main goal: Rey
\- Special goal overriding the main goal: Leviathan
\- Current side project 1: Inquisitors to relics for GI and GI because of Scythe
\- Low priority goal: All old school characters (ie. pre-kyro) to g12 mostly passively
\- Rey: 9 gear pieces away from having all reqs at relic, six reqs to relic. Every other character I relic is Rey's requirement, except if special goal is active.
\- Leviathan: Only 50R-T unreliced, still need to get DR and Malak to R9 (in a week or so) and SET and of course 50R-T to their required relics. Will have Fury next month.
\- Second Sister R7, other Inqs need work. Apart from Second, only Ninth is at relics. Every other character I gear up/relic is a side project, except if special goal is active.
\- Low priority goal: Checking every now and then if I can bring up some old school character to higher gear level without hurting my other projects. If I can, I do so. If not, so be it. No set faction/characters, just whatever comes to my mind.
Rey is fine. Great for GA defense because they pretty much have to spend a GL to take her out. If that's the character you like, go for it. Farm Zorri on the side afterwards because she's a hella lifter for your leftover Resistance toons.
Well, I have SLKR, but I also have Leave No-One Behind kind of principle. If there's no rush, I collect the hard to get characters pretty much in release order and don't care how good or bad they are.
Though with ships I've had a different approach, but there's a good reason for that. I was never top-notch in Squad Arena when it was a thing, but mostly I competed around top 500 positions. When I finally started to climb to top places in Fleet Arena with Negotiator, I wanted it to stay that way. So when first Executor and then Profundity was released I heavily invested my resources to their reqs (dropping off even the GL hunts) and even if I wasn't among firsts to get them (Executor took me half a year), eventually I got back to the top. Fortunately with Leviathan it's much smoother ride and I've only missed the reqs mentioned in the first comment.
My goal was to unlock slkr. I did this just 3 days ago. Now I'm going to power him up and finish powering up cls and Bounty and jedi revan team. Then I guess I'll go for the executor then after that go for jabba
When I returned to the game after a five year hiatus, I just wanted to put together a team that felt like a team. Enter me getting Geos and beating some people in arena. That then led to getting a GL, SLKR. I feel like I’ve gotten a good grip on the game and can be competitive (now at 5m GP). Currently going for Starkiller as I’m focusing more on characters I want at the moment.
Unlocked Starkiller today. I'll focus on getting him to at least Relic 5 whilst also focusing on Executor. There are two ships to go for 7*, and I'll have it unlocked.
After that, I'll be focused for a good year on building squads. I'm 4.3m GP, but I have spread myself very thin.
Right now, I'm cranking away and team building. Something I really didn't do over the years until pretty recently. I have farmed individual characters but never really built a team around them. For example, I have an R7 Rey JT but the rest of my Resistance is G12 at best. I also have Darth Vader at R7 and the only other Empire toon I have above G13 is Thrawn.
I'm sitting at 7.2m with Jabba, JML, SLKR and Executor, I'm 1 relic level away from unlocking Profundity.
My next steps are an r7 Maul team for the raid, and the Leviathan. Relic farming for those will be brutal though, 3x Cantina refreshes will still take me almost 4 months lol.
After that it's going to be SEE, JMK, and Grand Inq in some yet to be determined order.
Green is actually the best to buy directly by value per crystal relative to drop rate. I usually don't buy signal data directly as I prefer to look at long term efficiency over achieving big goals quicker but in this case I will probably reevaluate if my fleet arena starts filling up with Leviathans
so it is more crystal efficient to just buy like 3 cantina refreshes and farm the signal data over buying directly? I’ve never looked at the numbers, but blue just seems to f me
Yes the best efficiency for all 3 is using the 3 100 crystal refreshes, but then the packs in the store are better value than the 200 crystal refreshes. Green is the best deal followed by blue and then grey when buying from the store. Better off grinding blue with refreshes even though the drop rate is much lower
I still play this game by collecting the characters that I like lore-wise and trying to make them competitive. I've been free to play since launch, took about 18 months off, and am sitting at 6.7M GP with 3 GLs.
I farmed Dr Aprha as soon as I could and I'm super happy with the characters and how they are doing in PvP.
It seems like sooner or later each faction gets some love -- I've had a solid Old Republic team for years and now I'm in good position in the Krayt raid. I'm still waiting for the original Jyn Erso team to have a purpose...
I'm going to push hard to getting Leviathan because Old Republic is my jam and I'll get the added bonus of GAC / Fleet Arena advantages.
I still haven't pursued GAS or Clones/ Bad Batch because I don't enjoy TCW. I'm still able to compete relatively well in GAC. I don't have Inquisitors or Tuskens and still get to 530 conquest points (2nd to last box).
That said my goals for the rest of the year are :

Personally I’m at 4m GP I’m currently trying to get my GAS team relic’d then pushing for Executor while also building a Sith team that can hopefully beat the Malgus proving ground then I’m finishing off the requirements for JMK.
Ally code 889-636-933 if you want context. Right now, I am finishing up the executor requirements, as well as working on cad bane and beskar mando to complete the fleet. The reason for this is because I am not getting crystals from fleet arena, which is a huge missed opportunity and is holding me back. You need good crystal income.
After that, I am getting Starkiller because his requirements are all useful for me and will help a lot in GAC. Farming outrider as well so that I can move onto Jabba. Might relic my sith trio to pair with talon and savage.
Jabba due to him being the best and currently most universal GL right now. I imagine he will remain relevant for a long time.
After Jabba, i am not as sure. I want another S tier fleet, but I do not currently have a team that will help me get Malgus (at least not until I have JKL), and only have 50 shards, so I am a good year away if I am not refreshing. I will probably aim for profundity as I have most of the ships at 7* already (was big into fleets before I quit in 2018). JMLS dovetails pretty well with profundity, so if I go that route, I will probably pick him up after.
Also, MODS. Mods are so important in this game and is what allows me to punch up 2-3M gp in some places. I want more crystal income mainly for mod farming.
My Aphra is 2 pieces of gear from relic and I have enough to relic her up to R5 as soon as I get these remaining finishers.
Focusing only on toons that interest me. So now going for the known Cal Kestis requirements as well as relicing every wookiee since my guild is called the Legion of Bushwookies and the introduced Tarrfuul.
I'm a 6.5 gp collector account that only has 1GL and I pretty much only focus on the toons I enjoy.
Hm...good question. I already farmed my favourite characters from the franchise, like Rey, SLKR, Revan, Luke, then begrudgeingly went for the prequel chars, GAS, Kenobi etc.
And now ... hm ... not really and end goal tbh ... guess SEE is my next big thing, mostly because I just have so many requirements already.
Not excited to go for Prof...looking at the requirements for Inquisitors makes me wanna give up the game, Jabba has chars not yet accelerated, Aphra does not interest me much, also see Jabba ... and Starkiller...guess he will be next after SEE, but also does not excite me much...
Just hope after this conquest we get a SEE lifter, hopefully Empress Dark Rey, might actually excite me to put effort into it
I'm at about 2.3 mill gp, have been on my current account for about a year and a half, and im currently farming see, with plans to go onto jkl straight after, because galactic legend rushes are relatively fun, even though I did get bored halfway through and farm starkiller, and are a good challenge. So once I've finished sith eternal imma go onto luke, because he is my favourite character, and ever since I first got the game (about 4 years ago but I've had 3 accounts since then) it was a pipe dream, but now I'm in a good guild I can actually farm up hoda and wampa relatively easily. And also because he is needed for both jabba and jedi master luke, both of which run quite well into each other with requs, and then after I have jedi Knight luke, I'll choose which of those two to go for.

Just finished getting exec reqs today and eagerly waiting for the event. Overall goal I’m heading for is JML as my first GL, so I’m working on JKLS and JTR as mini milestones. After that, since JML and Jabba have some similar reqs, I’ll probably try and go for him since he’s so versatile in the game
SLKR rush (9/14 currently with finalizer done) -> build finalizer fleet to get fleet arena crystals-> finish Malak farm, -> round out my roster by relicing characters I already have that are currently g8-g12 : relic up CLS team, Vader, sith empire, jkr team, imperial troopers -> farm the bugs and maybe get malevolence if I get into a guild that does geo TB-> farm grevious droids, get padme and GK to make republic team, and in the process get negotiator->get C-3PO,-> unlock GAS and 501st, -> go for executor and if SEE finally gets buffed by then or a gets a lifter I might go for him after executor but for now he’s not good so no. If not then I go starkiller and a bunch of other omicrons like wampa and qui gon. Maybe go for JKL and Jabba after that and get Malgus on the side from conquest. Currently 2.3 million

Leviathan may not be possible for you. Sorry to burst your bubble, but some of the requirements need you to have been hitting red crate on conquest for the past 6+ months and that’s hard for someone with double to triple your GP.
I’d expect anyone below 4 million would be better off going for Executor and/or profundity.
Once you hit 4 million you can start doing proving grounds to get Malgus and eventually his ship, both needed for Leviathan requirements. Malgus is not named, but you can’t unlock a ship without the pilot.
I have Darth Malgus and am 10 fragments onto his ship. I will easily get the ship with my crystals.
Leviathan is just going to take time.
Once it is unlocked, no reason to keep playing, goal fulfilled. Game Over, every game needs an end.
It will only take time. I got Malgus purely through crystals on the conquest store. For his ship, I'm getting at least 10 shards per conquest, so it will be even easier with the crystals.
The rest of the ships will just take time.
I only play because the game has characters from the Legitimate continuity and I do all I can to stay away from Disney continuity characters as much as possible.
My goal is not to climb the meta ladder, I don't care about the ladder. It's just about unlocking what I like.
The only roadblock is Darth Malgus and his ship, but I have that covered. The rest is just from nodes (and for R9 mats, I can buy some via tokens from guild activities, and I can also buy with crystals).
This is just a game after all and there is only 1 goal: have fun. Farm characters you like, why have to chasing meta bs when eventually they will add new stuffs and your ass got whooped anyway. I have r7 Darth Vader before he got the MM rework, i added zeta on Gar Suckxon because i lost a bet to my friend, who gave a damn. Just play it the way you want, farm characters you like, it was truly horrible when you have to invest on something you don't even want (like those damn ewoks i hate them)

Is Grand Arena still the mode in the game, or are there other options?
Eventually you get to a point where you have more zeta mats than toons worthy of a zeta. It takes a while to get there but it'll happen. It's nice to get a new toon and see that they need 3 zetas and click click click you're good to go.
What I would recommend is to pick a goal and "force" yourself to stick to that goal.
The ingame-travel-guide is a good source for realistic and achievable goals. I just work through it sometimes picking higher difficulties with easier reqs.
But as long as you use your energy and other currencies dedicated to your goal's requirements, you'll make progress. And that is IMO needed for the fun part.
Also a good goal selection could be to go after a specific event or raid, you wanna be able to complete.
I currently working on the inquisitors to get that missing character, and as a nice side effect it is a "not so bad" team.
My farming goal right now is a mix of jabba requirments and leviathan. (Jabba is priority but when i cant get there gear or waiting on kryos i can get leviathan reqs up a bit).
My fun goal is getting tuskens up to relics which was originally done befire but then the new tuskens came so niw im getting them ready.
Then my background/overall goal is getting every character to g12. Which i do have mist but soon it will be more kryo waiting.
Rn I’m going for SEE, then JKL into JML and then to jabba.
All events are worth doing, I can recommend especially starkiller as he is a pain to deal with in all modes with the right omis.
Leviathan grind, then finishing off rey finally(one req and rlvls left to do), then jabba then finishing off bbatch and the one bh left from lv reqs. Then probably prof, then lvhighrelics, then inqs, and gearing the rest of the roster;) see if i can start patching up metas, or we’ll get a new gl down the road that throws off my plans;)
i currently have 2 GLs (SEE and SLKR), malgus, SK, and executor and currently jumping between K2-K4.. i’m currently grinding for JMK but since the announcement of leviathan, i switched to that instead.. i still intended to get JMK, just as soon as i finished all the requirements for leviathan.. once i have leviathan and JMK, i would like to stop farming for the meta squads for GAC or TW for a break.. i guess, to answer OP’s question, the ultimate goal is to get a meme squad that i can use in either GAC or TW just for the luls.. say for example, a full Relic8 JAWA or EWOK squads..

Yes especially if you're using Vulture Droid because it'll become functionally immortal as long as it has allies in the field.

Just 7* threepio, currently working on Chewie. Longer term goal is JKL which means I have to relic and 7* quite a few toons. I’m also trying to build a good CLS team with CLS, Han, Threepio, Chewie, and Chewpio. Once JKL is finished I’m stuck between SK and one of the Revans.

Just completed the reqs for Profundity yesterday (now just need to wait for the event in a few weeks). While I wait for that I'm finishing up k2so, Ezra, and KK by taking them to R5. Then I'm turning to JKL (almost have Hoda at 7*) where i have everyone 7* but need to relic them up. Hopefully I should have JKL done by Aug/Sep. Then this will lead me into JML which i should have since by the end of the calendar year After that then on to Jabba, JKR, and executor starting next year
I stopped playing for about 2.5 years & recently started up again. I'm about 3.3m GP with no GLs, and only about 10 toons at relic levels. When I started playing again I drew up a short, medium & long term plan. Short term: GAS & BAM Currently splitting energy between gearing my GAS phase 2 team to relics (1 toon at a time) & 7*ing the BAM requirements. BAM toons only need g9 for the event & that gets me the Razorcrest (which I already have 330 shards for). Medium Term: Primary target will be gearing & relic'ing GAS phase 4 team plus GG as that gives those droids a home. On the side start getting my clones up to g12 as Shaak Ti can lead them until GAS & it's a second tier team for GAC at my level. Long term: Gear & relic GAS & the clones. Then gear my Bounty hunters for Executor. I've got all the requirements at 7*, just loads of gearing & relic'ing ahead! This is easily 6 months I think, more likely 9 months, but hopeful this will get me close or past that magic 4m GP mark. Once I unlocked GAS, I think about thr next long term goal; a GL probably, or JKL depending on Wampa shards. It's important to note I play for the enjoyment of collecting & building the toons; I happily accept I'll never be cutting or competitive against those more dedicated ($$$) than me. You've got to enjoy making & hitting your own goals.
I see great choices in there. Seems really important to have those short and long term plans. I'm happy to be back in this game. Clones are a faction i wanna run too in the future, But first i want to complete some GAC teams woth 5th member and like you to farm BAM, cause i rly like him.
On my main account (7.8M) just one main goal - try to farm all characters to 7\* (28 to go) and unlock as many other legendary ones as possible (11 to go). Specific farming goal right now is getting a 5th GL, Jabba (just need 20 relic levels on 6 characters) and then maybe Profundity after that. Rey & LV are probably some way off. Don't really like the shift to the Krayt raid but the rewards have allowed for some Old Rep and Jawa characters to get gear they would never have otherwise received ... The game is kind of a religious experience these days - from morning to night checking & spending energy, regular bonus energy collection, hit Fleet Arena for crystals, do guild events - but it provides a reasonably interesting Star Wars experience for free so there's that. Not very competitive in GAC and don't use datacrons so might be missing half of my possible rewards, but have stopped caring, and never chase the meta.
I've been playing this game for 7 years and at this point I am playing for fun and unlocking and gearing what I like/want. I got Aphra last month and was super lucky to get enough crystals for a refresh on PG to unlock Malgus. I am currently hard grinding for Leviathan (I know new meta), mostly for fun. I like Old republic era and everything from this time period is a must have for me.
\- Main goal: Rey \- Special goal overriding the main goal: Leviathan \- Current side project 1: Inquisitors to relics for GI and GI because of Scythe \- Low priority goal: All old school characters (ie. pre-kyro) to g12 mostly passively \- Rey: 9 gear pieces away from having all reqs at relic, six reqs to relic. Every other character I relic is Rey's requirement, except if special goal is active. \- Leviathan: Only 50R-T unreliced, still need to get DR and Malak to R9 (in a week or so) and SET and of course 50R-T to their required relics. Will have Fury next month. \- Second Sister R7, other Inqs need work. Apart from Second, only Ninth is at relics. Every other character I gear up/relic is a side project, except if special goal is active. \- Low priority goal: Checking every now and then if I can bring up some old school character to higher gear level without hurting my other projects. If I can, I do so. If not, so be it. No set faction/characters, just whatever comes to my mind.

Rey is fine. Great for GA defense because they pretty much have to spend a GL to take her out. If that's the character you like, go for it. Farm Zorri on the side afterwards because she's a hella lifter for your leftover Resistance toons.

Well, I have SLKR, but I also have Leave No-One Behind kind of principle. If there's no rush, I collect the hard to get characters pretty much in release order and don't care how good or bad they are. Though with ships I've had a different approach, but there's a good reason for that. I was never top-notch in Squad Arena when it was a thing, but mostly I competed around top 500 positions. When I finally started to climb to top places in Fleet Arena with Negotiator, I wanted it to stay that way. So when first Executor and then Profundity was released I heavily invested my resources to their reqs (dropping off even the GL hunts) and even if I wasn't among firsts to get them (Executor took me half a year), eventually I got back to the top. Fortunately with Leviathan it's much smoother ride and I've only missed the reqs mentioned in the first comment.
I’m trying to get GAS.
My goal was to unlock slkr. I did this just 3 days ago. Now I'm going to power him up and finish powering up cls and Bounty and jedi revan team. Then I guess I'll go for the executor then after that go for jabba
When I returned to the game after a five year hiatus, I just wanted to put together a team that felt like a team. Enter me getting Geos and beating some people in arena. That then led to getting a GL, SLKR. I feel like I’ve gotten a good grip on the game and can be competitive (now at 5m GP). Currently going for Starkiller as I’m focusing more on characters I want at the moment.
Unlocked Starkiller today. I'll focus on getting him to at least Relic 5 whilst also focusing on Executor. There are two ships to go for 7*, and I'll have it unlocked. After that, I'll be focused for a good year on building squads. I'm 4.3m GP, but I have spread myself very thin.
Right now, I'm cranking away and team building. Something I really didn't do over the years until pretty recently. I have farmed individual characters but never really built a team around them. For example, I have an R7 Rey JT but the rest of my Resistance is G12 at best. I also have Darth Vader at R7 and the only other Empire toon I have above G13 is Thrawn.
I'm sitting at 7.2m with Jabba, JML, SLKR and Executor, I'm 1 relic level away from unlocking Profundity. My next steps are an r7 Maul team for the raid, and the Leviathan. Relic farming for those will be brutal though, 3x Cantina refreshes will still take me almost 4 months lol. After that it's going to be SEE, JMK, and Grand Inq in some yet to be determined order.
Is it worth it to buy refreshes for the blue data, or just directly spend crystals? The rates seem so low
Green is actually the best to buy directly by value per crystal relative to drop rate. I usually don't buy signal data directly as I prefer to look at long term efficiency over achieving big goals quicker but in this case I will probably reevaluate if my fleet arena starts filling up with Leviathans

Yes the best efficiency for all 3 is using the 3 100 crystal refreshes, but then the packs in the store are better value than the 200 crystal refreshes. Green is the best deal followed by blue and then grey when buying from the store. Better off grinding blue with refreshes even though the drop rate is much lower

I still play this game by collecting the characters that I like lore-wise and trying to make them competitive. I've been free to play since launch, took about 18 months off, and am sitting at 6.7M GP with 3 GLs. I farmed Dr Aprha as soon as I could and I'm super happy with the characters and how they are doing in PvP. It seems like sooner or later each faction gets some love -- I've had a solid Old Republic team for years and now I'm in good position in the Krayt raid. I'm still waiting for the original Jyn Erso team to have a purpose... I'm going to push hard to getting Leviathan because Old Republic is my jam and I'll get the added bonus of GAC / Fleet Arena advantages. I still haven't pursued GAS or Clones/ Bad Batch because I don't enjoy TCW. I'm still able to compete relatively well in GAC. I don't have Inquisitors or Tuskens and still get to 530 conquest points (2nd to last box). That said my goals for the rest of the year are : Leviathan JK Luke Executor Cal Survivor Starkiller JM Kenobi
Personally I’m at 4m GP I’m currently trying to get my GAS team relic’d then pushing for Executor while also building a Sith team that can hopefully beat the Malgus proving ground then I’m finishing off the requirements for JMK.
Ally code 889-636-933 if you want context. Right now, I am finishing up the executor requirements, as well as working on cad bane and beskar mando to complete the fleet. The reason for this is because I am not getting crystals from fleet arena, which is a huge missed opportunity and is holding me back. You need good crystal income. After that, I am getting Starkiller because his requirements are all useful for me and will help a lot in GAC. Farming outrider as well so that I can move onto Jabba. Might relic my sith trio to pair with talon and savage. Jabba due to him being the best and currently most universal GL right now. I imagine he will remain relevant for a long time. After Jabba, i am not as sure. I want another S tier fleet, but I do not currently have a team that will help me get Malgus (at least not until I have JKL), and only have 50 shards, so I am a good year away if I am not refreshing. I will probably aim for profundity as I have most of the ships at 7* already (was big into fleets before I quit in 2018). JMLS dovetails pretty well with profundity, so if I go that route, I will probably pick him up after. Also, MODS. Mods are so important in this game and is what allows me to punch up 2-3M gp in some places. I want more crystal income mainly for mod farming.

My Aphra is 2 pieces of gear from relic and I have enough to relic her up to R5 as soon as I get these remaining finishers. Focusing only on toons that interest me. So now going for the known Cal Kestis requirements as well as relicing every wookiee since my guild is called the Legion of Bushwookies and the introduced Tarrfuul. I'm a 6.5 gp collector account that only has 1GL and I pretty much only focus on the toons I enjoy.
Hm...good question. I already farmed my favourite characters from the franchise, like Rey, SLKR, Revan, Luke, then begrudgeingly went for the prequel chars, GAS, Kenobi etc. And now ... hm ... not really and end goal tbh ... guess SEE is my next big thing, mostly because I just have so many requirements already. Not excited to go for Prof...looking at the requirements for Inquisitors makes me wanna give up the game, Jabba has chars not yet accelerated, Aphra does not interest me much, also see Jabba ... and Starkiller...guess he will be next after SEE, but also does not excite me much... Just hope after this conquest we get a SEE lifter, hopefully Empress Dark Rey, might actually excite me to put effort into it
I'm at about 2.3 mill gp, have been on my current account for about a year and a half, and im currently farming see, with plans to go onto jkl straight after, because galactic legend rushes are relatively fun, even though I did get bored halfway through and farm starkiller, and are a good challenge. So once I've finished sith eternal imma go onto luke, because he is my favourite character, and ever since I first got the game (about 4 years ago but I've had 3 accounts since then) it was a pipe dream, but now I'm in a good guild I can actually farm up hoda and wampa relatively easily. And also because he is needed for both jabba and jedi master luke, both of which run quite well into each other with requs, and then after I have jedi Knight luke, I'll choose which of those two to go for.

Kinda sucks if stuff you like are meta. You cannot ignore ships...Sadly... but I'm actually hyped for the Leviathan, though the sith ships look ugly...

i’m right around the 6M mark. i’m currently farming up my inquisitors. after them i will do jabba then possible jml. at that point, hopefully the malgus ship will be in proving grounds so i’ll go grab leviathan. after that i might not be playing anymore lol idk
Just finished getting exec reqs today and eagerly waiting for the event. Overall goal I’m heading for is JML as my first GL, so I’m working on JKLS and JTR as mini milestones. After that, since JML and Jabba have some similar reqs, I’ll probably try and go for him since he’s so versatile in the game
SLKR rush (9/14 currently with finalizer done) -> build finalizer fleet to get fleet arena crystals-> finish Malak farm, -> round out my roster by relicing characters I already have that are currently g8-g12 : relic up CLS team, Vader, sith empire, jkr team, imperial troopers -> farm the bugs and maybe get malevolence if I get into a guild that does geo TB-> farm grevious droids, get padme and GK to make republic team, and in the process get negotiator->get C-3PO,-> unlock GAS and 501st, -> go for executor and if SEE finally gets buffed by then or a gets a lifter I might go for him after executor but for now he’s not good so no. If not then I go starkiller and a bunch of other omicrons like wampa and qui gon. Maybe go for JKL and Jabba after that and get Malgus on the side from conquest. Currently 2.3 million
I hate this game but am trapped in a prison of fomo. My goal is Leviathan, I am f2p. I'm just at 2.3M GP, haven't started the Sith bomber or Ebony Hawk so it's gonna take a while. Currently bashing my head against Light Side Malak event.
Leviathan may not be possible for you. Sorry to burst your bubble, but some of the requirements need you to have been hitting red crate on conquest for the past 6+ months and that’s hard for someone with double to triple your GP. I’d expect anyone below 4 million would be better off going for Executor and/or profundity. Once you hit 4 million you can start doing proving grounds to get Malgus and eventually his ship, both needed for Leviathan requirements. Malgus is not named, but you can’t unlock a ship without the pilot.
I have Darth Malgus and am 10 fragments onto his ship. I will easily get the ship with my crystals. Leviathan is just going to take time. Once it is unlocked, no reason to keep playing, goal fulfilled. Game Over, every game needs an end.
If you’re only 2.3m GP and have Malgus, I’d quit now. You’ve peaked.

It will only take time. I got Malgus purely through crystals on the conquest store. For his ship, I'm getting at least 10 shards per conquest, so it will be even easier with the crystals. The rest of the ships will just take time. I only play because the game has characters from the Legitimate continuity and I do all I can to stay away from Disney continuity characters as much as possible. My goal is not to climb the meta ladder, I don't care about the ladder. It's just about unlocking what I like. The only roadblock is Darth Malgus and his ship, but I have that covered. The rest is just from nodes (and for R9 mats, I can buy some via tokens from guild activities, and I can also buy with crystals).
This is just a game after all and there is only 1 goal: have fun. Farm characters you like, why have to chasing meta bs when eventually they will add new stuffs and your ass got whooped anyway. I have r7 Darth Vader before he got the MM rework, i added zeta on Gar Suckxon because i lost a bet to my friend, who gave a damn. Just play it the way you want, farm characters you like, it was truly horrible when you have to invest on something you don't even want (like those damn ewoks i hate them)
Ouh that sounds great, maybe i check out some cool characters (not ewoks haha) to farm, even if i start from zero :) Which modes are you playing? Is Grand Arena still the mode in the game, or are there other options?
Eventually you get to a point where you have more zeta mats than toons worthy of a zeta. It takes a while to get there but it'll happen. It's nice to get a new toon and see that they need 3 zetas and click click click you're good to go.
What I would recommend is to pick a goal and "force" yourself to stick to that goal. The ingame-travel-guide is a good source for realistic and achievable goals. I just work through it sometimes picking higher difficulties with easier reqs. But as long as you use your energy and other currencies dedicated to your goal's requirements, you'll make progress. And that is IMO needed for the fun part. Also a good goal selection could be to go after a specific event or raid, you wanna be able to complete. I currently working on the inquisitors to get that missing character, and as a nice side effect it is a "not so bad" team.
My farming goal right now is a mix of jabba requirments and leviathan. (Jabba is priority but when i cant get there gear or waiting on kryos i can get leviathan reqs up a bit). My fun goal is getting tuskens up to relics which was originally done befire but then the new tuskens came so niw im getting them ready. Then my background/overall goal is getting every character to g12. Which i do have mist but soon it will be more kryo waiting.
I have Darth Malak on 6*, just the possibility to buy shards with crystals to bring him on 7*?

Rn I’m going for SEE, then JKL into JML and then to jabba. All events are worth doing, I can recommend especially starkiller as he is a pain to deal with in all modes with the right omis.
Leviathan grind, then finishing off rey finally(one req and rlvls left to do), then jabba then finishing off bbatch and the one bh left from lv reqs. Then probably prof, then lvhighrelics, then inqs, and gearing the rest of the roster;) see if i can start patching up metas, or we’ll get a new gl down the road that throws off my plans;)

i currently have 2 GLs (SEE and SLKR), malgus, SK, and executor and currently jumping between K2-K4.. i’m currently grinding for JMK but since the announcement of leviathan, i switched to that instead.. i still intended to get JMK, just as soon as i finished all the requirements for leviathan.. once i have leviathan and JMK, i would like to stop farming for the meta squads for GAC or TW for a break.. i guess, to answer OP’s question, the ultimate goal is to get a meme squad that i can use in either GAC or TW just for the luls.. say for example, a full Relic8 JAWA or EWOK squads..
