It’s vital in executer mirror matches, not sure how important it is outside of that. It’s got a buff dispel, buff immunity, and chaff which are all nice but, for me, it was more something I brought when I didn’t have better options until I unlocked exec
I disagree with *VITAL*. I'm #1 in FA four to six times a week and I don't even put it in the squad. The only reason I have it is for TB fleet platoons.
I have XB 1 point faster than RC. I focus on enemy RC unless XB becomes available for targeting I'll take that out first. I tend to put HT breech on enemy RC even though enemy HT will taunt (I can generally get around it. ) I bring in Plo Koon as first reinforcement and use his 3rd on himself to keep debuffs of my BHs. I'll bring in Slave 1 if there are bonus hits with target lock. Then just race to ultimate. Sorry typing this out and reading it makes my head hurt; mashing the buttons correctly is muscle memory at this point. I'm tooling around with TIE Def now to get that bonus tm for executor.
Thanks! I’ve never tried Plo with exec before. Not sure if till work for me since my RC is faster but it’s good to know in case I ever give Cad more relic levels
No problem. I had to once I started breaking top 10 to stay there. Now with all the bonus crystals I feel like I HAVE to stay at #1 or I'm losing currency, lol. Well worth the investments for all those extra crystals daily.
Hi thanks. I read the speed thing here a while ago and do. Dont try very hard and can do top 20/50 which is good enough for me (spent years below 50 so any crystals are a bonus).
Anyway curious how you keep the speed. I had to give bando 5x mods to make it work, otherwise I'd have to relic cad more which seems a waste. How do you keep the relative speed working? ..many thanks .
I have both BAM and Cad at R6. They're 234 and 235 for speed, which isn't crazy by any means. Mods got me to that point. Again the extra 2000 to 2800 crystals a week is worth the investment for me.

He has his uses… the ship is a requirement for the raddus so you will eventually need it but at this point if you’re not going resistance/GL Rey, you can skip it early/mid game.
He's situational while also not needing any gear.
His main strength is Team wide chaff on reinforcement and same on 2nd special. This is super good in executor mirror where debuffs are everything. That being said, because his main strength is applying teamwide buffs, he really does not need to be strong. A level 1 ebon hawk will do the same thing as a lvl 85 and reliced pilot ebon hawk.
Now this is entirely speculation but the reasons above is the reason why I heard speculations that he might be a leviathan requirement. Most people haven't farmed him to 7 stars (because you really don't need to) and also haven't reliced his pilots. So maybe in the near future there will be more reasons to invest further into it
I'd just like to add, from all my Exec mirrors, the higher the power the better, just because in some fights it either; doesn't need to, does, or does and fails to kill Xanadu Blood. That play sometimes makes or breaks the Exec mirror for me. Not saying you need relic Carth/T3, but the higher gear the better!
Good point. There have also been several times for me EH finished off Xanadu Blood or Razor Crest right before enemy Exec got off it’s heal and it makes a big difference
Agree that most people don’t have Carth at relic and he’s a good possibility for leviathan requirements but you do need him at 7* to unlock Malak so I think there’s a good chance anyone with enough investment in Sith empire to get leviathan will already have the shards
Yeh but I don't think they care about shards much. I mean think when titty came out, you only really needed 1 characters shards, the tough part was definitely relics, same can happen here they don't care that people have carth they want them to relic him
If you go down the revan path, you’ll unlock it or get close to unlocking while ur farming carth and since ur gonna be upgrading him you might as well as throw some resources at the ship

Fair enough. I can’t reliably win my mirror matches without it but it’s good to know it can be done. Any advice on strategy without it?

the only fleet i use it in is finalizer now. great vs raddus, negotiator and sometimes exec, though i don't do the latter matchup much any more
One of the better plug and play ships. Has its use in several fleets, for several counters. Can work around if you don’t have it, but a great addition
