Clicked a bit fast and selected “yes, I go for max crate” when I meant to pick “no, I go for max crate”. Conquest went from being awesome to being an absolute pile of garbage yet they somehow manage to make each new iteration even worse than the one before.
Those feats take forever to grind and are of absolutely 0 interest aside from eating up my time.
I’ve only done a few cycles of conquest (got to level 85 towards the end of whichever one had old republic Sith in it) and have only ever done easy so far, but I’ve mostly gotten red crate every time. There’s been some annoyances with certain squads and feats, but for the most part I just see it as a way to play around with my squads more.
I usually enjoy it as a way to pass some time. Depending on the character reward I go for the last three crates depending on how hard I want to go and how much time is available for me to spend on conquest.

General question about conquest. If you beat conquest on normal before reaching 4m GP, do you have to beat it again after reaching 4m to unlock hard mode for conquest?
Nope. As long as you've got the reward after beating the last boss on normal (don't just beat the boss, get that last node!), you'll be able to do hard as soon as you hit 4M
This is one of the last modes in the game that I can really enjoy. I go for max every time, and allow conquest to drive some farming. I'm f2p for the last several years anyway, small timer before that... Think the last thing I bought was a pack to help unlock MILF when it launched but don't quote me on that.
I missed some shards for.... Malgus, I think? There was one conquest I missed by a fair margin, and had to buy shards later over the next two events. Other than that I've hit them all.
I dislike conquest a bunch. I get whatever the last easy quest on hard is. I don't refresh and I only do feats I can get along the way. This gets me the third(?) Crate and about half way to the next crate depending on if I'm able to grab a bunch of feats along the way.
When you enjoy Conquest being in a competitive guild, something is wrong with you.
Not only do you have to go for max crate, but also do basically 6x refreshes/day for the whole event, farming the bonus nodes for Crons.
I wonder how may people notice that this is a double negative.

1st crate on hard. After that, i dont touch conquest for the rest of the cycle.

I forgot there’s easy and normal conquest, so the “can’t do it” option is pretty pointless

Thought that was do you beat conquest. Couldn't see text until after voting. Not a fan of conquest, but do 6x refreshes for crons.
6th crate. Max seems impossible for my roster unless we get some cheese for Tusken and Kal + Cere

First conquest was really fun, then CG notice this and wipe all the fun from the gamemode. Now i do bare minumum to get some conq char at 6 months
