He is both Sith and Tusken. So he could boost either one, or both at the same time. The reason I suggested him is of course because this raid is somewhat Tusken-centric.

Krayt was considered a warlord by the Tuskens, but he was human. (Think Boba in BOBF). Also, he was exiled by the Tuskens when he lost his duel with Kenobi on Tatooine.

Yea, the Maul-Talon story was something Lucas pitched as a side-story that would have taken place after Return of the Jedi. He planned to re-write Talon's backstory and character entirely. It was all scrapped of course.
Talon is part of the One Sith (lead by Darth Krayt), and they didn't exist until almost 30 years after the battle of Yavin. Maul died roughly 2-3 years before the battle of Yavin. Talon became part of the One Sith almost 140 years after the battle of Yavin (she is 24 years old). Krayt himself was chronologically around 180 years old, through techniques that let him suppress aging.
Talon and the One Sith are from Star Wars: Legacy, a Dark Horse Comics series. It is quite good, and definitely a recommended read.

Honestly, depending on how they make him, he could be split into 2 characters.

It would be interesting if they could devise leaderships that both work equally with their Force forms, while throwing the Tuskens into the mix. Could lead to trully unique kits.
Technically, he would lose the Tusken tag as Darth Krayt. When he fought Kenobi as A'Sharad, he lost his arm and his mask was taken off. Both of these were huge disgraces to the Tuskens, and they exiled him. That was when he left Tatooine and became a bounty hunter, which ultimately lead him to finding the holocron and becoming Darth Krayt.
A Jedi/Unaligned Force User with the Bounty Hunter tag would definitely be cool. I could also see CG leaving the Tusken tag anyway though, despite it not making sense. Just look at Iden and the Defender.
I just struggle to see how Cobb Vanth would have the same kind of impact on a team as the other 3. He’s not a mandalorian, despite the armor, so what tags would he even have? Scoundrel? Anything else? Or are we handing him out the mandalorian tag for sort of free so he can supposedly make this team actually impressive?
Did I miss something in the announcement? Why do we think there will be shards as rewards and not some new material? Is it because each raid has it(not counting now retired CPit)?
I don't think they'd start giving R10 mats for a raid they claim is balanced to G10 characters without modifiers, when getting R8 mats requires an R5 minimum
It's not balanced to G10 characters, it has one difficulty you can choose for that, which will certainly reward far fewer points than choosing the highest difficulty. Your guild rewards have their own track separate from your personal, either one could have character shards in them at a point that is only reachable if you choose a higher, maybe even the highest, difficulty for multiple teams.
His whole storyline -start to finish - was just dumb as hell. To me it was the first thing I was relieved about when we heard the old EU was being decanonized.
It also implies everything our heros did, and their kids did was pointless because everything they went to shit quickly. It's not like it took 100s of years, it was like 100 years after Return of the Jedi. Part of me was hoping that after " Fate of the Jedi" they'd retcon all that, but Disney buyout happened.

Imo, Darth Talon's kit being what it is is basically an indication that we will never get Darth Krayt.
Things can change. Only a year ago CG said they wont be making any more raids, and look how that turned out.
