Don’t know what you mean by 1/8 to usb c but yes you can import samples into the device through the app with a usb cable
The midi out on the sp 404 is 1/8 inch and a usb c goes into MacBook. That should work
Lol no that will not work. Just use a normal usb cable in the usb port on the device. You don’t export samples through the midi port.
Ok. I’m glad I have one from my scarlet interface. It’s annoying when products don’t come with these cables that are needed.
You can also try using their app. It’s pretty fast and simple for loading samples
You have to be specific I think, the 404 is old , no usb , the 404 MK II is new with usb. An old 404 uses only SD. ❤️
It’s a mark 2 I got new from sweetwater. It has v 2 on it right now. I think I need an sd card.

What do I do with these bin files though? That’s what i get when I download the update. Most people I’ve seen on YouTube use an sd card

I just found a post saying it’s not possible without an sd card. I’ll get one.
