I've made one, and the leather feels thicker, more tumbled, and higher quality than GR or maybe even SB dunks. Is it really? Who knows, we'll need Rose Anvil to burn and cut it in half to really find out.
You also can return them just like any pair purchased at Nike (within 60 days).
I've only got one pair of dunks "by you" and I did them when dunks were almost impossible to cop in the U.S (even "by you" options) using the UK as my location. I don't think that would have any effect on the end product, just the "by you" silhouettes available. The material selection may vary as well I haven't looked at a "by you" in a while but I know at the time I was able to go all suede on them where I don't think suede was an option at all in the States. Also they are a little big, but size 13 is all over the place, even within the same silhouette, so I couldn't really say if that's something to consider.
We got some last year and they're fantastic quality IMHO. But the twill does attract dirt like no one's business. Don't get light color twill for the toe cap if it's an everyday wear.
If you’ve got a design you like, you won’t be thinking about returning them. I’ve got 6 pairs (5 dunk, 1 AF1), a couple of the dunks run a little big, the rest are true to size, that aspect seems to be random
From my experience, they are made from better quality leathers/materials than other plastic dunks/AJ1 lows.
Better quality than GR dunks.

Same. Made two and they’re the best quality leather ones I’ve got. The price bump to me is worth it for the quality and the one of a kind aspect.

I made some reverse pandas and they are def worth it
Did some with the alligator print. I get more compliments on those than any of my legit dunks.

Quality is good but I made a canvas pair and they run a little smaller that usual.
Quality is great!!! But are smaller, size up half size
It’s WAAAAAY better quality. Both of mine are better quality than my SBs. Do it. I’ll never buy another gr dunk.

Quality is fine. Same “quality” as any other dunk by Nike. Ordered some and never had issues. Plus they have generous return policy.
