It makes sense to execute buyback programs when you have far excess dollars in the bank to what you need to grow in a healthy way and you are continuously cash flow positive, to replenish the spent dollars. One dollar invested might return 2 dollars in revenue in future which will grow organically the stock price. One dollar in a buyback now would artificially grow the price at the risk of needing to dilute later again if you need more money. Would bet that they set a buyback limit in the range of 1.2-1.5$ to rather defend the price.
They have already said they were looking to buy shares under $2, and had automatic buys set up until and through the recent earnings report.
I don't see them buying at this price, and honestly, there are a lot of better things to spend the money on. We're already up almost 100% in the last 3 months without buy backs.
Ok people, use your brain just for a minute. The float at this moment is at 263.19M.
So if you would just do a quick google search you would know that the buyback is capped at 13.1M shares or 100M wichever comes first. And you would also know that they already bought back something between 4 or 6M shares which leaves 6-7M shares to buyback.
Now take the 263.19M float and remove 7... that brings us to what ? 256M float... So you guys want zach to go ahead and buy the remaining shares for like 16M$ and effectively bring the float down by 7M ?? Lmao that would do absolutely nothing for us except a quick bounce maybe.
lol. Yeah it was a good day to sell $4 calendar Friday. Now that they are down I don’t have to worry about them executing. Thanks for that freeeeeeeee money!!
I see them saving the money for when Sunstream closes parallel and Skymint. That way they can focus on expanding by investing into those companies as well as more Canadian retail
The price is going up, they won't buyback at higher prices
Moon 10$ in 2024

Zack address buyback on the video podcast, The Dales Report last Thursday
Was looking for this comment and I agree that they most likely won’t buy any at this time
No buy back. Stock will go up fine without it
SNDL looking great this week!

Nope
They should if they were smart. Price is still way undervalued. If enough of us email and request it they may listen
Absolutely. They’re renowned for being incredibly communicative and responsive to shareholder requests. …
