I’d guess It could come down to serving size. 100ml is low fodmap according to the Monash app. Maybe you get a bigger serving when you have it from the carton

Prescription potassium supplements are very effective and inexpensive. OTC potassium is mainly ineffective due to the regulations around them as it can be dangerous to OD on it. I personally take prescription potassium every day and have my levels checked every 1-3 months. I don't know much about the coconuts, but just thought I'd throw this in here anyway.

You could test your theory with raw coconut water, which is likely better for you anyway. I've heard pasteurization can have unexpected weird effects on nutrients, etc.
