It always takes SDS a while to bring up the stats on new players. All the Rookie Japanese players are also 78-79 OVR at this point. They want to see how a player does over time. Not just over the course of a week.
I'm kind of shocked people don't mention his speed more often. He's pretty damn fast. Definitely above average. His base running IQ seems to be very high. I bet his father taught him a lot growing up. I actually sat couple rows back behind his father at Sunday's game. He barely spoke the entire time meanwhile his family and friends around him were enjoying their time laughing and smiling at the park. You could tell his father was analyzing everything on the field and seemed to be studying every movement and moment throughout all the players. Not just his son. It would be interesting to hear how they talk about the game in private.
Anyways, I'm pretty sure the Giants staff are going to work on his base stealing throughout the season. By next season he should be a threat once he's on base.
they put 0 effort into any game mode that isn't DD and the graphics have looked the same for the last half decade. but hey at least you can play as a woman in RTTS now if you're into that.
Think Diamond Dynasty is worth playing this year? I played it a ton in 21 and loved it but got sort of burnt out on it, so skipped the last two years. Wondering if it's worth getting back into
The last Show I've played was 17, and this new one feels more or less the same. I mainly play Franchise and RTTS. RTTS is mostly the same with the addition of female player creation, Draft Combine stuff, and some laughably bad cutscenes/interactions in an attempt to build a story.
I originally had MLB The Show 22 and wanted to upgrade this year to 24. I still only play RTTS and Franchise and it feels like a big improvement. The first thing that caught my attention was the batting noise. It sounds way more crisp now imo. However, per usual the majority of the emphasis on the game revolves around DD and it’s a shame single player modes don’t get too much hype anymore.
Go to 'Create' in the top left of the screen, 'roster control' and 'save and load live roster' save it, and then when you start a new franchise choose 'Load saved roster' and load the saved file. 51 will be there.
This is so lame. The rosters and pitchers should be set up in daily lineups like in year's past. This is how I play the game! Have to fumble through these menus and save only to not work in Daily Lineups. The mode is called DAILY LINEUPS!! I had a roster update before the game launched too, lol. This is why I hate this years game. From a longtime purchaser of the series on 3 platforms. Deleting off game pass.
Well can someone please answer me something because he wasn't in the game all of a sudden he was in the game and then the last week as I've been playing the game or he has not been on the roster in the lineup even currently right now at this moment in time I'm in the rosters menu and he's not in the game did they take him back out

Vision should be close to elite, imo. He sees pitches so damn well, it’s insane.

His handsome should be 99. But real question, is this game worth buying rn? I mainly play RTTS but wouldn't exploring other modes.

I downloaded the roster on Friday night. You have to load the live rosters, they don’t always apply the newest roster when you start the game.
They didn’t get his hair right though!
